Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) Sun 13th Aug 2023 16:30 GMT

Lots and lots to look forward too. The team seems energised. Also justifies the decision to bring in Poch. We are two or three short of a complete team and a very exciting season ahead.

Likely would have won the game with Nkuku wasn’t injured mind you. Onwards and upwards. After all. We didn’t see a performance like that at all last season.

just need Ziyech, Lukaku, Sarr ans CHO out the door to free up some wages.

We could critique and complain about not getting three points, but I’ve just thoroughly enjoyed a Chelsea game in what seems like forever!

Fingers crossed Reece is ok.

He was smiling when he came off so I’m assuming it was a cramp

I won’t read a better summary.

Hard to judge because we always outplay them. So this is more of the same for me. Outplay Liverpool, but can't turn the dominance into a win.

But many of these are new players playing a competitive game together for the first time. It's sort of shocking that only 4 of the starting 11 have been with us for more than a season(Silva, Recce, Chilwell, Conor). Need to give these lads time.

The forward play the movement.. Thai was unreal.. didn’t play like this under TT at any point during our golden period also!!

A bit deflated tbh, promising performance don't get me wrong but we really deserved the 3 points here.

I get that, but I was expecting us to get beat and not play as well as we just did. Given the current circumstances, I think we can be very happy with that performance.

Take what you can get out of it, sh*t we didn't capitalise but if I were a Liverpool fan I would be fuming at that performance and worried about the season ahead. It's much better to be on our side.

He did. Looked all over the shop in the first 20 minutes or so. The goal settled him down a lot I think.

There again didn't Koulibaly scored on his home debut?

Very true, I was thinking just the same when he scored.

When Liverpool went 2-0 up (before it was correctly disallowed) things didn't look good. But a fantastic turnaround and we could have won it at the end. Overall plenty to be optimistic about. That was definitely the best I have seen from Enzo since he joined. Disasi had a shaky start but I thought he got better as the game went on.

Decent performance. Draw the right result, as we just can't take chances, as per the last several years.

Better than last season's crap though.

Right result my arse we battered them 76% possession in the second half they were barely on the ball
