As debuts go for Caicedo that's like sh*tting yourself on the first day of school.  And Mudryk was a disaster again. But f**k me, those goals are getting gifted cheaply

Team of lightweights that can't take any physicality (did we win any contested aerial balls 2nd half?) With no-one really attacking the ball. Can't defend either as we keep falling asleep in the midfield so they get clear runs through the middle and our high defensive line. Only player with any promise came off injured.

Looks like another transfer window full of terrible, overpriced buys. This season is going to be exactly like the last, I give it no doubt all the stupidly overpriced crap we bought this season will also stop playing halfway through. This game is going to represent at least half our matches this season.

Totally bossed that first half then Carney get a knock and Enzo takes a really poor penalty and we lost momentum.

Fair play to Moyes. He got his players to roll their sleeves up and make it more difficult for us and we ran out of ideas.

Disappointing second half after such an amazing first half. Really looked like we lost the wind from our sail the moment CHuku got injured and Chilwell got taken off.

Very disappointed. First half very encouraging despite the penalty miss. Second half ? Who knows what happened there. As bad as last season. Shouldn't be so- new manager, new players, new staff. Luton on Friday so maybe our chance for 3 points and more importantly some confidence. KTBFFH

If we are to finish 5-6th we will lose about 10 games this season. This was the first.

Absolutely. Nowhere near ready. Even Enzo went missing after Caicedo came on. Glad we have 5 days to train. 

I am also bit worried about Mudryk. My word he needs a goal.

That's a bit harsh. He looked good in the first half, the whole team looked terrible in the 2nd. 

I’m interested to hear if Pochettino is honest about the second half performance in the post match interview. Personally, I hope he lays it down and let it be known that it is unacceptable.

We are ultimately to blame for Caicedo looking so out of shape. Due to the speculation all summer he didn't feature in any pre-season games for Brighton and he is clearly way off match fitness. He shouldn't be starting games until after the international break.
