Excellent goal from Madueke !!

The fast pass out from Caicedo was what started that opportunity, just in case those of you who have been on his back didn't notice ...

One pass does not make a 100 million player. The talk was of Conor leaving ? He’s much more influential than Caicedo and still not the answer.

That is a mad stat considering where we are in the league, we're the only team in the prem to not go into half time losing.

Is there a stat of the worst side in the first 10 minutes of second half. We must be up there...

Good half of football,  not the greatest performance but going in 2-0 up away from home in any PL match is something to be proud of.

Some big guns on the bench for once.

I'd get Nkunku on for Broja at half time.   Need to keep Broja wrapped up, stick him in a padded cell until January because you just know the f**ker is going to tweak something or fall off a bar stool at a new years eve party keeping him out of the January window.

That's just our luck.

Madueke and Jackson’s defensive involvement has been encouraging. Luton have definitely done their homework by whipping balls in far post. Madueke made a crucial defensive clearance earlier in the first half.

Game of moments really but defensive organization looking better. We desperately need a ST. Looks like both Jackson and Broja look best outside of the box.

Missed the first half. Two great goals, we need to be taking more shots like this, lovely to see them paying off.

It’s a difficult stadium to play in, so I am glad we have this lead at HT!

A couple of decent subs at HT and we can nail this lot second half. If we make the right changes

As long as we don't bring Sterling on.

I like our energy in the counter attacks, I think we're doing very well to find the free space while playing direct football, we also have the speed and finally some quality by Palmer and Madueke.

We were playing hardly on left side, Madueke barely touched the ball but scored a very good goal. We need to use the both sides in our game, Gusto can be more helpful in the attack than Colwill in my opinion.

Nkunku for Broja or Jackson and keep the performance up. We weren't brilliant, but we weren't bad like we used to be.

COME ON CHELS!

It’s slowly coming together.

Gusto and Palmer are very good. Caicedo, Conor, Colwill, Petrovic and Noni are also playing well and a big part of the future.

It’s clear to me that we’ll never go that far with Jackson and Broja up top. We know Nkunku addresses part of this, as does Mudryk for me, but would love to see a real striker back in this team.

I rate Colwill, but also think we’d benefit from a fit and in form Chilwell as it offers a different threat altogether.

93% of football statisticians know that. I follow the XFT closely

It's one of my football pet peeves. The majority of throw-ins aren't taken correctly; the refs arbitrarily call out the odd one (usually on Victor Moses). [Anecdotally] the better teams seem to be the biggest offenders. The 'stick it up 'em' Dyche/Allardyce/Pulis teams are presumably coached to do it correctly.

In any case, anyone other than a full-back taking a throw-in looks bizarre. Perhaps with the single exception of when a team only has a few minutes left to score, and their embattled star player decides he is taking charge and takes it himself because he is too determined to wait the few seconds for the full-back to catch up.

I don't think we have been that good, but for the first time in what feels like years, we have had a bit of ruthlessness about us.

7 shots and 6 on target in that half.

Mudryk and Nkunku for Jackson and Broja. Or Sterling and Nkunku - would like to see either of those changes. I think all three will get on though as don’t see Noni lasting the 90.

A striker that can win headers would be nice.

If I was Pochettino I'd make 2 changes now to bring on energy. We are absolutely horrible coming from the break. If Luton get an early goal all bets are off.
