Unpopular opinion but I think it’s time to drop Silva not because it think he isn’t good enough, in fact I still think he’s our best defender, but defenders like disasi and Colwill need more games like this to develop vs Silva continuing to baby them.

2 points off 7th. Come on Chelsea, we gotta fight for that spot, it's there to be taken.

A point away to the best team in the country is no mean feat. Still got a lot to be proud of today, even if we did get our hopes up for all three points.

Legendary performance from Disasi in particular. Gary Cahill would have been proud of that. Really, really solid.

Same team for the final but I’d take a punt on Nkunku starting even though he was pretty crap today 

If before kickoff you offered me a point, I’d have taken it. It hurts to be up for so long and then let them equalize, but a proper match and they showed a lot of fight. Didn’t love the subs, but mostly strong performances all around,  Disasi and Gusto in particular played very well I thought.

With Caicedo on a yellow there was no protection .. I think that’s why he changed the formation.

Gusto was immense.. he kept Doku largely under check.. the problem was he was defending for 70 mins of the game so Doku was bound to create something.. in other games there is more of a balance

I’m not sure about dropping him as such, but the lads need to be playing more as ultimately Silva really is coming to the end of his time, and I’m sure even Belle would have to admit that.

Agreed. Looks very rusty but I’d still prefer him over Sterling. 
 

I have a feeling Pochettino will play them both though.

Fair play to the lads for sticking in there the last 20 minutes. The change in formation ended our attacking threat but I won't be too harsh on Poch.

Special mentions to Gusto and Disasi, both  played brilliantly.
