May 16, 20251 yr I know he is a young lad blah blah blah but George doesn’t seem to have a clue about how to play as a central striker, I doubt if a Premier League League player has ever touched the ball less in a half!
May 16, 20251 yr Would play anyone over Jackson, but he looked like a fish out of water tonight. We need a better option against Forest.

He would have done more just because he has more ability than George, but he would have had to improvise, because Maresca wouldn't have changed anything to help him. May 16, 20251 yr Needs a loan in the championship next season, I can't be too annoyed at his performance tonight given he's a kid playing up front when he isn't a striker

May 17, 20251 yr A billion spent and we've this lad playing up front. I like him as a player and think he's done really well, great attitude. But the sporting directors need sacking. Oh yeah, and Egbahlis a proper c**t.
May 17, 20251 yr Guy has probably never played striker against 3 Cb's in his life and it showed. Not his fault, the manager should have known better and gone with Neto upfront and him in his normal position on the wing.
May 17, 20251 yr Needs a run of games in his best position if he is going to develop properly, and preferably under a different manager !In and out of the team is never going to work.
May 17, 20251 yr Author If there’s any reality we get Rodrygo, George would be the perfect understudy.
May 17, 20251 yr Maresca threw him under the bus last night, he's never a striker and no wonder he looked like a fish out of water. I've not been overly impressed by him this season but felt a bit sorry for him last night.
May 18, 20251 yr Not an easy game for him. Think he has shown growth during the season and if we get a CL spot, he definitely did his part with that Fulham goal.
