We could have lost, we did not deserve to win. Our big players underperformed, bar Enzo and Caicedo. Cannot win every game and, as I promised, I will not be hard on the team or manager. Has been a very good run, we were bound to drop points somewhere and Goodison stuck out like a sore thumb. Good job to the team and manager on this run and having us second at Christmas. Onwards and upwards. Let's get back to winning ways on boxing day.
December 22, 20241 yr 2 minutes is actually making it too blatant. Same scenario same game if that was Liverpool realistically how many minutes are they getting?

I agree but not about Palmer because sometimes in games like these you need just one moment of individual brilliance to get through... Palmer is that player but it just wasn't his day today.

December 22, 20241 yr Everton always been the “cucks” to Liverpool, playing like their life depended on it to give their neighbours a clearer gap at the top, one of the reasons the Merseyside derby hasn’t meant sh*t for 3 decades.
December 22, 20241 yr Absolutely not the end of the world, none of us expected to be second come Christmas. Things are looking good. Now, let's hope the dippers lose.

December 22, 20241 yr We usually lose there, so I'll gladly take the point and move on. Imagine having to watch Dyche football week in and week out. 😅

December 22, 20241 yr Conditions won the day, take the point and run We dominated without looking likely Subs were a little late in coming Shoutout to Tosin for his point saving block
December 22, 20241 yr This was a game any of the strongest Chelsea teams in the last couple of decades could have also dropped points, especially with Everton having the best defence in the league so I'm not going to be hard on the team. Maresca could have made better subs though, don't think Neto should have been taken off.
December 22, 20241 yr That was an awful game of football to watch. I think the only positive I can find from the game is last season it's the sort of game we would have definitely lost.

December 22, 20241 yr Enzo Fernandez, Tosin, Neto did not deserve that performance from the rest of the team. This is why I say we're not in a title race. Diego Costa, Drogba, Hazard will score in these games out of nothing
December 22, 20241 yr Pretty lacklustre performance by everyone today. Subs had absolutely no impact either. Not the worst point in the world away at Everton in those conditions. But a chance missed to apply some pressure on Everton
December 22, 20241 yr Terrible from the attackers and Maresca today. Should never have started Sancho, he's horrible in games like today, we've seen that a few times this season. Jackson was wasteful as usual, and anybody saying he is doing fine is wrong. If we're ever going to compete for titles again, we need a striker that will take his chances in games like today, it's what separates the best from everybody else. Neto was the best of the attackers, but it was mostly just running around trying to force something to happen. Hopefully another lesson for this young group has been learned today. Hopefully just a blip after a really good run of form.
December 22, 20241 yr Everton defended like it was a cup final whereas it looked like we were rattled by their intensity and conditions. Palmer, Sancho, & Jackson just don’t do well against these sides.
