People would probably prefer to see Hazard or Costa tied down.

 

For me, this is the best contract agreement we could have done, he's such a terrific defender and his consistency if fantastic as well.

Great news. Probably our most consistent player and unlike most players described as "consistent", he's actually very very good.

Seems to always give it all and care about the result too. Hope he stays here for a long time.

Remember when the scouse thought they were gonna keep Suarez cus he signed a new 5 year deal then moved to Barca a couple of months after

Would be madness to change things up in defence now that those three guys are playing like the best defence in the football world. They've all be absolutely fantastic the last 11 games and neighter deserve to be benched.

When Cesar's time at Chelsea is winding down, he will be remembered fondly as one of the best value purchases the club has ever made (considering prices at any given point in time).

The fact that he is a fullback helps so much in the back three because he knows when to come wide and he does it naturally, he almost plays like a fullback and RCB at times.

Reckon we could pull off a LB in LCB as well, or would only one natural CB be too little?

Probably not the right thread for this but just did some research into what the team we usually have fielded this season have cost us. Got to say we have made som wonderful purchases there. Not a single player over 35 million and quite a few steals in there.
