Yep, really good support, abusing your own like that.

And thank f**k you in particular have "had enough".  Now, off you f**k, go "support" the pikeys or Fulham or Citeh, or whatever.  Not really the sort that Chelsea need nor want.

for those that think Willian will be leaving in this transfer window, think again

If da gaffer wants Willian, then I will support his decision - I want to believe in Sarriball

Yep, as several people have already said, you were too big a disrespectful twat last time you joined up, so you rightly got banned, you've slithered in here again under another idiot user name and are still too big a disrespectful  twat so will get banned again.  Won't be nothing to do with me, as I'm just ignoring your infantile rants.

Sarri's already used Emerson out wide a couple of times recently too which could also be an option if required.

Twice now he's used him on the LW.  I believe both times we had a lead and were down a few wingers due to injury, so I think it was a combination of trying to go defensive and protect a lead and straight necessity due to lack of options.  Maybe he does see him as more of a winger, but I'm not so sure.  Regardless, he's shown he's not afraid to put him in that position when needed.

Potentially the club could want a deal similar to our deal for Pulisic where he doesn’t actually go until the summer.

who knows, it’s all speculation but it’s not Sarri in charge of transfers it’s marina and as we know, she’s a business woman. A 31 year old asset in football for 50m is a hell of a piece of business.

While it's easy to empathise with those who want a more productive player than Willian, I think the other players really like playing with him. He's selfless, works hard, is always showing for a pass, and never hides even when everything is going to crap. He's everything you want in a team-mate, but maybe not what you want as a fan.

I read reports that the fee was an exaggeration from the media - I read that the fee was closer to 10-20 mil + Malcom

1 goal, 1 assist in the last 16 games.  There just comes a time in every relationship where you wonder if you can do much better.

Don Maurizio had this to say about Slick Wily today in his Pre-Match Press conference:

Sarri on Willian bid reports: "You have to ask the club, I think. If you ask me about the market you put me in trouble"

Sarri says "of course" he doesn't want to lose Willian but adds: "He can do better [on the pitch] because his potential is higher"

Sarri says it's "impossible" to lose Willian in January

It is... but Malcom isn't worth nothing... he was 38M 6 months ago.

So Barca values the total deal at 50M, which give or take is about right.

But Chelsea shouldn't have to sell him. Let Barcelona sell him, and then come with Cash.

I think that's the idea.

and yes, 50M for Willian is one helluva piece of business for Chelsea.

It's a tough call.... ya, I would take 50million for Willian given his circumstances (age, contract, form etc) but do you potentially sabotage the rest of our season by selling a first team regular when we clearly do not have a lot of good quality depth?

One of the things that pushes me to sell is I think it would be a massive sign to CHO that the club is creating a path to him being a first team regular, if he can keep taking the chances..... and who would guess that we could get the best years out of Willian and still make over 20million profit off his sale as a 30 year old with only 18 months left on his contract?

Honestly, if the board/club viewed CHO as ready to take over as a regular squad member for the BPL it's hard to see them turning this down.

For me the deciding factor would be what's Willian's likely reaction?  If his coaches think he's going to sulk or down tools because his (reportedly) dream move is being denied despite a fairly generous offer, then sell.....but if the manager feels he needs Willian for the rest of the season in order to solidify top 4 chances and winning some trophies (CC/FA/EL) then by all means that's worth more than 50million.

EDIT:  Oh, if the deal is valued at 50million with Malcom representing 38million of value then unless Sarri wants the kid, no deal..... 12 million is nothing in the transfer market, though it might pay Hazard's wages for the year.

I for one rate Malcom - Malcom is a #9 & IMHO hasn't really gotten a chance to shine at Barca but lets be real, he was bought to be a back-up to Suarez - also there are questions about his transfer to Barca in the first place - remember he was off to Rome & then Barca stopped him at the airport & changed his flight to Barcelona

selling a 30 year old and bringing in an appreciating talent like Malcom appears to be right up Chelsea's Alley... like Morata for Costa, Bakayoko for Matic... those two both asked to leave though. Honestly, this one is just mind numbing to me.

Rate Malcom or not, he's a viable asset in this deal.... I've had my say on this already... I'll hangup and listen until this plays out.

Is he a #9?  I did not realize that.  Thought he was more of a winger.

He even played that position yesterday in Barca's lost to Levante - Here is a video of his touches

I think it's massive stretch to say he is a #9 because of a decent perfomance against an average Spanish side. What about all the other good perfomances at right wing which earned him his move in the 1st place?

actually I was basing my opinion on what I saw of Malcom with FC Girondins de Bordeaux - Also I never said he had a decent performance - I just remember his time at FC Girondins de Bordeaux & yesterday that was the line-up Valverde had - It seems the Barca Top 3 interchange & move all over the place in an effort to confuse the opponents defense - Barca did get the all important away goal in that match so I would assume Valverde would be satisfied w/ the result

This has to be the last time we can get something decent for him......it makes sense business wise nevermind if we get Malcom on top. Let Pedro and Cho take his place. Can only be good Cho staying as well.........Willy is basically spent.

He didn't play as #9 at Bordeaux though either?

I think his qualities are very typical for winger. He hasn't got the skill set to be a number 9, he isn't strong enough to play with his back to goal.

Even from what your describing of last night's game, he didn't play as 9 either.

Yeah, sorry, I don’t think I was clear. I mean - I think Marina might agree to the sale if the deal was just a straight cash offer for £50m instead of Malcom making up £35m of it.
