Good news if he meant what he said.

 

Since our current lineup isn't doing very well at all, some fresh faces may spur us to more favourable performances. This could be the season where we see the rise of RLC.

Let's hope he starts. I think some kids could freshen it up. It was interesting that our best game (Walsall) was when a few kids were playing - we looked fresher. I know it was Walsall but it's worth a shot. There were promising signs.

At which players expense though, would much rather see Fabregas benched and Matic & RLC in front of the defence- But Mourinho might bench Oscar and move Fabregas in the No.10 role in order to make space for RLC.

 

God help us if he is partnered by Ramires with Matic and Oscar on the bench. 

I would love to see us reverting back to 4-3-3.

Got to say I'm a bit bothered by these quotes.

 

It's similar to when Jose gave him his debut, he hyped it up and then gave him 10 minutes at the end of a dead rubber, and afterwards had the temerity to say RLC should thank him, as if he were doing RLC a favour.

 

Here we have Jose making promises but I won't hold my breath. Furthermore, he's damning him with faint praise, saying he'll get a game or two but only because we're so shocking at the moment. What a way to build the boy's confidence.

 

Remember, this is the man who decided at the last minute to try and buy Pogba. That shows you how much he wants to field RLC. Let's face facts, if we had signed Pogba RLC may as well have handed a transfer request in there and then.

He said something about pressure and he mentioned Fabregas as one of the players who copes well with it. Bonkers. Expect to see him paired with Fabregas.

How does playing RLC address the horrors in defence ?

Every time he plays he seems to be our missing link.

 

And then he doesn't play for another 10 games.

I honestly dont think RLC will make it fully, and if he does he will never achieve anything close to his hype, just an opinion I have had for a while, but

 

Id like to see us switch 4-3-3 and have Mikel and Ramires with RLC. It is probably the most solid midfield we could set up that can have a defensive impact.

You mean like the hype about Mikel?he's had a sucessful career right enough but who can forget the amount of times it's been mentioned that he finished second to Messi in a youth tournament?
