December 23, 20196 yr ive seen costa struggle phydically against spurs, so it was great to see tammy more than holding his own. I fancy him to break his top 6 duck against arsenal, to really put a shine on this half season. It will come as long as we are winning against the big 6
December 23, 20196 yr Excellent yesterday despite not being on the scoresheet, just like Drogba was. Menace to the defence all game and caused constant issues
December 25, 20196 yr Enjoyable article on footy365 about Tammy dominating Alderweireld against Spurs: https://www.football365.com/news/flat-track-bully-abraham-had-alderweireld-mourinho-stumped

December 26, 20196 yr I'm actually a bit worried for him. He was scoring goals regularly but in the recent games he is just too much isolated and needs to spend a lot of effort just to get a pass and hold the ball, he does it well but I don't want him to change into a Giroud now just because he's tall and can hold the ball, he's a great scorer. I expect him to score against Arsenal if Pulisic is playing.

Maybe but that's no excuse we still had 2 world class midfielders out there. The sudden 5-2-3 makes Tammy very alone in attack, thats how it feels to me. With 4-2-3-1 looked better to me, but we were playing mostly 4-3-3 and now 3-4-3/5-2-3, Tammy scored the most when we were playing 4-2-3-1.

Abraham's doing well enough, but the creative side of our game has gone to sh*t.

Arsenal will be tough, hope to see Tammy scoring there, this season when he was scoring the whole team was doing well.
December 26, 20196 yr Not concerned about Abraham at all, despite recent results he’s still the standout player for me, and i thought he did well today despite not scoring. Imo all he needed was the right delivery and he didn’t really get that.
December 29, 20196 yr Really wanted him to start scoring again, he did it. The son of Drogba, 14 goals so far. Tammy the man, nutmeg those fools all night long.
December 29, 20196 yr He is so f**king impressive. Remember Morata falling over all the time, moaning to the ref all the time, missing all those chances? How times have changed. We have a proper centre-forward, who loves the club, and who loves mixing it. He just gets better and better.
December 29, 20196 yr Interviewer asked him about scoring against one of top six sides. If I were him I would have said, but it's Arsenal, I don't think they count. 😛
December 29, 20196 yr I don’t think the ball got anywhere near him first half, too busy passing it around the back line. Second half he was used as a focal point to build attacks and he was immense.

Great on him and his desire..
December 31, 20196 yr He's such an upgrade on Morata it's unreal. Besides the heading mind. One weakness I've observed of Tammys is his heading.

He's scored some good headers in the past on loan, so he has it in him, but were not really a team that pepper our striker with crosses, we like to pepper the first man.

Is that so? I would never write it off anyway, it's something he can improve on in his young age, he definitely has the height to take advantage of it. It's just I've seen him miss some really good headers, that's my only criticism of his really, anything other than that I'm really impressed.
