I personally think that Rudi and Christen are different players in a back 4, much more stable in a back 3/5.

I think if we play a back four we need two defensive midfielders and one creative one.

It would be good if one of the defensive m/f's had a decent shot too.

i couldnt believe my eyes.. AC was an absolute collosal at the back... was very impressed.. he is 25 now.. next season is critical for him.. make or break! Him Ake/Chalobah and to a lesser degree bertrand where the best scholars for us in the last 10 years before Mount and Reece.

Hopefully Chelsea see sense and don’t use him as a make weight in a deal being muted, he is class and potentially our future🤔🤔🤔

Depends if he's willing to sign a new contract or not I guess. 

If he's hinted he'll sign a new contract then by all means sign him up. 

If he's running down the last 12 months then using him in a make weight for Hakimi and grooming Reece James to play RCB would be good business.

Yep my feelings too.

He doesn't normally get offensive headers for us in the box and then he releases a thunderbolt too.

Obviously something about putting that shirt on or the Eriksen effect is lifting him and the team. 

Imagine him and Rüdiger bombing forward alternately from their R/LCB positions taking pot shots and playing long balls. Who knows, if we don't add a certified striker next season they may become our top scorers.

He had a goal wrongly ruled out on his first appearance back from loan and has hit the woodwork a few times.

Wouldn't say he's holding out, that was a 1 in a million goal from a CB.

He's really banished his demons. Playing well for club and country and been consistent for a while now.

Last I heard he wants to stay and surely Tuchel wants to keep him, let's get that new deal done.

Was outstanding when he moved into midfield, nullified the Welsh attack through Ramsey completely.
