August 6, 20178 yr It's not a transfer window if Chelsea are not wasting a whole summer chasing someone they cannot getSo is it the club wasting energy or you? Media perhaps doing their job? Not sure how much energy goes into a couple of phonecalls and e-mails.

They were bullets dodged (bar Koulibaly - not seen enough of him), but my point is more that they were players that we as a club were going after yet failed miserably. Whether the selling club wants to sell or not is irrelevant, I'm sure Juve didn't want to sell Pogba either. I did think about putting him in with the likes of Aguero/Robinho but IIRC we were only linked with them for absolutely ages. I'm not sure if there was anything concrete about us making bids like Sandro, Stones, Koulibaly etc.. Edited August 6, 20178 yr by EdinburghBlue

We have previous for making a co p,eye mess of transfer windows and this one is 2 or so weeks away from being the exact same.
August 6, 20178 yr Honestly, Allegri saying the transfer won't happen doesn't change anything. He said the same about Pogba and Vidal.
August 6, 20178 yr This transfer requires Sandro to agitate for a move, if he isn't prepared to do this we should move on to other targets.
August 6, 20178 yr rumours a few days ago were his close friend was claiming sandro wants the move, but isn't going to push for it out of respect for juve. i wouldn't be surprised if we get him next season, but this window doesn't seem likely. again it's all bloody through the grapevine with the media, so no idea what is going on and we never will as fans. August 6, 20178 yr No smoke without fire and if this "rumour" hasn't gone away, there must be something to it.

August 6, 20178 yr Day 12 06/08/2017 Have we signed Alex Sandro yet? Yes. Edited August 6, 20178 yr by TomCFC85 jk No.
August 6, 20178 yr This will happen on deadline day, to be announced at 11 after the return of Harry Redknapp's car window interview.
August 6, 20178 yr Juventus' mood on this one has definitely changed since selling Bonucci. Don't like to criticise the club for simply taking their time to negotiate the best deal possible, but for the best left back in the world... they could have hurried the hell up.
August 7, 20178 yr Let's be honest. I trump the club's horn more than anyone here maybe, but conte deserves more from the board. If our ambition is to be a top team we must use our resources in that way. We've got more than enough profit. Spend our cash on players to make us better!
August 7, 20178 yr Juventus are insisting on bringing back Leonardo Spinazzola ahead of schedule and could conclude a deal this week. The versatile 24-year-old is on a two-year-loan at Atalanta from Juventus and isn’t expected to return to Turin until 2018, despite Juve pushing for his return. Hmmmm, he's a left back apparently.
August 7, 20178 yr I can feel like something may happen with Sandro - it's a lot of cash to turn down and Juve have always sold when the price is right. We just need to stop faffing about and pay them the money.

Very versatile defender. Is pretty much two footed so they are apparently after him to replace Alves/Lichtsteiner on the right. I actually reckon we should think about trying to buy him if Sandro is off the table. Although we'd have to send a chunk of cash Atalanta's way to get him out of his loan too.

August 7, 20178 yr Sad how this rumour has gone totally quiet the past few weeks. Fearing this one may be dead in the water now.

Apparently Dalbert from Nice is having a medical today with Inter. Also a left back
August 8, 20178 yr I dont undrstand why we waste time on transfers. We could have moved on and gotten mendy. Our Technical director and scout team really sucks. All they can do is buy players to loan out
August 8, 20178 yr Day 13 and Day 14 07/08/2017 and 08/08/2017 Two for the price of one edition Have we signed Alex Sandro yet? No and No.
