Alex Sandro

It's not a transfer window if Chelsea are not wasting a whole summer chasing someone they cannot get
So is it the club wasting energy or you? Media perhaps doing their job? Not sure how much energy goes into a couple of phonecalls and e-mails.

i'd say those were bullets dodged tbh.

Oh, I agree mate. They were bullets dodged (bar Koulibaly - not seen enough of him), but my point is more that they were players that we as a club were going after yet failed miserably. Whether the selling club wants to sell or not is irrelevant, I'm sure Juve didn't want to sell Pogba either.

I did think about putting him in with the likes of Aguero/Robinho but IIRC we were only linked with them for absolutely ages. I'm not sure if there was anything concrete about us making bids like Sandro, Stones, Koulibaly etc..

Why would it me? That makes no sense at all.

We have previous for making a co p,eye mess of transfer windows and this one is 2 or so weeks away from being the exact same.

rumours a few days ago were his close friend was claiming sandro wants the move, but isn't going to push for it out of respect for juve. i wouldn't be surprised if we get him next season, but this window doesn't seem likely. again it's all bloody through the grapevine with the media, so no idea what is going on and we never will as fans.

You commented on it. Seems YOU are running out of energy chasing this signing.

Juventus' mood on this one has definitely changed since selling Bonucci.

Don't like to criticise the club for simply taking their time to negotiate the best deal possible, but for the best left back in the world... they could have hurried the hell up.

Let's be honest.  I trump the club's horn more than anyone here maybe, but conte deserves more from the board.  If our ambition is to be a top team we must use our resources in that way.  We've got more than enough profit.  Spend our cash on players to make us better!

Juventus are insisting on bringing back Leonardo Spinazzola ahead of schedule and could conclude a deal this week.

The versatile 24-year-old is on a two-year-loan at Atalanta from Juventus and isn’t expected to return to Turin until 2018, despite Juve pushing for his return.

Hmmmm, he's a left back apparently.

Very versatile defender. Is pretty much two footed so they are apparently after him to replace Alves/Lichtsteiner on the right.

I actually reckon we should think about trying to buy him if Sandro is off the table. Although we'd have to send a chunk of cash Atalanta's way to get him out of his loan too.

I can feel like something may happen with Sandro - it's a lot of cash to turn down and Juve have always sold when the price is right. We just need to stop faffing about and pay them the money.

Exactly.
No matter what Allegri has said, he said the same with Pogba, Vidal etc
If the price is right, there's nothing he can do.

No smoke without fire and if this "rumour" hasn't gone away, there must be something to it.

There can always be smoke without fire if the source of the smoke's business model thrives on you believing there is fire.

Apparently Dalbert from Nice is having a medical today with Inter.  Also a left back
