Bakayoko definitely looks good to me, especially second half. Got to stop with the petulance though and just keep his cool. Will be a cracking player for us.

Jury is still out for me on Rudiger though. Christensen looked alright second half too.

Also, happy Christensen came into the game...we defended well as a unit in the second half (bar the Michy gaffe of course). Lots of good tackles, lots of blocks and clearances.
Good stuff.

Question is...is Pawson a red card self publishist...or Taylor a spineless coward....maybe both?

That dirty snidey c*nt Vertongen should have been sent off 2nd half for that high challenge.

I thought Alons was only good against smaller teams
Meant to be second or third choice
Ohh Sandro was out to replace him
That's the way, it seems
But then disappointment shat on our dreams
THEN I SAW THAT KICK
Now I'm a believer
Not a chance, of saving that goal
I'm in love...ooh

It was a screamer

What a feeling!!! I never though we'd get 3 points but we did. Some manager we have! And great debuts to some of our new guys.

Our strikers are on a low currently but they will get there.

After that performance I can't see Cahill displacing Christensen...he and Rudiger and Bakayoko were awesome...

Don't know why people giving bakayoko a hard time other than the sh*t free kick he gave away he played well and considering the circumstances after surgery and a huge game

I think it was nice that we let them have a goal so they didnt feel so bad. It must be hard for spurs playing at our 2nd home :D

yeah i thought he was pretty good actually. made a few good attacking runs too. seemed active throughout

Wouldn't worry too much about Morata.
Different formation due to injuries and suspension.
Once he's got Fabregas, Pedro and Hazard feeding him
He'll be on fire.

I agree, he looks like he can drive forward with the ball, something we have missed since Essien.
