We put up a fight, okay, fair enough. Just think it’s depressing when that’s where we are now, we’re putting up fights, we used to actually beat much better Barca teams than this.

It’s all Ashley Cole’s fault, he let Messi out of his pocket from the last time we played them.

Look on the bright side;

We only need a world class goalkeeper, right wing back, central midfielder to compliment Kante and a striker. Then we’d be a proper team.

I think we huffed and puffed but we never really looked like scoring.

Our attacking threat is so weak, especially when Hazard can't be a*sed.

Our defence is soft, our goalkeeper is a clown.

All things considered it was an insipid performance befitting of an average side.

I am probably digging out hazard too much tonight, but how is Willian outperforming him? Hazard should be taking these games by the short and curlies. Even Son is doing better for spurs. Salah is a wide player and has 24 goals this season. I am sure there are other players in other leagues too. So much talent,  but doesn't use it on the big stage or when he needs to.

at least we gave it a go unlike that embarrassment against city.

I'd seriously rather Liverpool won it than these c**ts that's how much I hate them.

NAH!    :funny:

Blame the defense all you want, we could've gone into this 3-1 and still our attackers do diddly squat this match.

It’s the final ball, or the finishing, time after time after time, should easily have scored one or two goals.

Thought Morata did okay when he came on, no worse than Giroud.

Couple of decent moments, but at the end he just wasn't trying. Should have been busting a gut to get into the centre, but was nowhere to be found, just hanging out on the wing, marking a defender so no-one could pass to him.

I was listening on Five Live,

Defensive errors, Courtois and Fabregas

Missed chances - Cesc putting off Kante, hitting the woodwork and the penalty shout we should have got.

The players kept going until the end and for once Conte made decent subs (on paper) and at a decent time.

One of those nights when it goes against you now let's win the next match.

with more luck and a FUCLING LEGIT REF, we may have gotten through! But props to the boys, most of them showed up big time and were so deserving of scoring that fcuking goal !! Others (Moses, Giroud, Hazard and Courtois) ... no comment. But hey, the team did us proud against an extremely clinical barça. Need to get better Wingers though!!! But hey, there's some hope for the future ... provided we do the good signings. Anyway, UTC!!!!!

The ref was all right, that's no excuse to use.

Can't fault the players too much. They put in a very good effort. Efforts ultimately sabotaged by the goalkeeper.

We move on. It was always a likely outcome when we let Roma top the group. Hell even for teams that top the group it is a likely outcome if the foe faced is Barca.

We're looking at £200m for starters right there, and as far as GKs go we don't need a worldie, how about someone who can stop a shot at least.

If we get just one of those two shots on the woodwork inside the goal, and the ref does his job and gives us the penalty, they would of been in all sorts of trouble.

If only Tibo and Cesc had turned up tonight it could of been so different.

Morata is a disgrace, please don't say it's harsh, we are paying him an absolute fortune in wages, when in fact his contract should of been awarded in carrots and other vegtables, anything to give him some vigour.

Fair play to Alonso, Willian and Kante, they all had great games and don't deserve to be on the losing team.

Oh well, as said earlier at least we gave it a go.

I’d rather play like this and lose 3-0 than the narrow 1-0 defeat to City when we didn’t even try and win.

If we can take this performance into our remaining league matches then you never know...
