Is it me our Kovacevic is alot fitter with Croatie then with us. He plays many matches without injury but @ Chelsea he can’t play 2 games without small problem😢 medical team

Murphys law, he will have a great world cup and then miss a months worth of club games injured.

Kovacic is to passing what Sutton was to (Chelsea) goals and Gronkjaer was to crosses. Once in a Blue moon does it go where it should.

I don't understand what is is wrong with Kova this season. He is back to playing like headless chicken.

I think he is trying to be more creative under instructions especially playing passes that he normally wouldnt. His passing was shocking yesterday.

Anything more than 5 yards and he struggles, in fact not just struggles sometimes he misses by miles!

His confidence must be rock bottom. Never have I seen him be this bad

Last season was his best, now people are surprised that under a different coach some of our most stable players aren't playing well anymore... Only Felix played well and that's because he was immune to our training ground.

And people wonder why they don't play risky passes. Not a single one of our midfielders and attackers (bar Felix) can play it with any consistency - which is genuinely puzzling for a top side.

No, Zakaria and Silva played well too. They usually do. And it is a disaster if Zakaria is out for an extended period and your fella gets back in because there is no one else available.

I thought that the midfield was mostly missing, we could not get the midfielders to drive the ball forward in the first half. Zakaria played well defensively but we lost the battle there. It was all down to Felix dropping to the midfield and having the quality to drive the ball forward with his quality and quick passes.

Not sure about that, we got a lucky goal it's not like anyone stood out part from Felix. 

I was a huge fan of this guy. His signing gave me hopes of a ball playing midfield. He could tackle, pass, run with the ball and score those stunners. Thought he was going to be our Scholes. 

But recently, he has started getting injured so much. Well, can't complain, I thought. It's not his mistake. 

 

But this world Cup started giving me doubts. 

 

Forgot to mention some of those matches aren't 90, but 120

Not to sound like a crazy girlfriend, but I just find it completely bizarre he is playing 90-120 minutes two times a week for Croatia yet ask him to play 2 matches a row for us is impossible. 

its a world cup lol probably he was force to play all minutes

Croatia don't pay his wages, and if they forcing him to play injured they owe the club compensation for when he is out.

Kova usually plays hard for both club and country. Kova was playing under injection in the World Cup as his knee has been bothering him all season. He might have messes up his knee worse. As far as him playing injured well national pride is very high in Croatia.
