It’s good for Giroud who’s getting in to a streak scoring in three games in a row.

I literally couldn’t care less, he’ll be out of the team next week anyway.

In fairness to Sarri he has said all along that we are short. He needs more depth. My concern is that his knowledge is the Italian League which is just too slow and soft compared to ours.

How does RLC not get in this team probably the tidiest feet in the midfield and can't get in the match day squad, baffling.

Becuase he’s English and came through the academy, if he was Brazilian and called Cheekinho he’d get much more of a chance.

It is ironic, injury or whatever, Hazard hasn’t been the same player, ever since Sarri said Hazard is almost as good as Messi in one of his press conferences. (can’t recall it verbatim).

I have been saying this for two months now that Kante and Jorginho can’t function as a central midfield duo, when we have so little creativity going forward (bar Hazard), and even worse finishing ability in front of goal.

After tonight’s disappointment, I would love it if Sarri can find a way to start Barkley instead of Kovacic, Pedro for Willian and Fabregas instead of Jorginho against Fulham next week, before the really big one against the Champions.

That was a nice one, at least something made me smile during this game thank you for that.

And remember, while they may have stopped two of our winning streaks, we won the Champions League and snatched their place in if from them.  It still makes me smile.

Thanks mate!

To be fair, Giroud has been much worse in front of goal in recent times.

Some folk have such a hatred of Morata it’s scary how bias they’ll be against him. He’s not the player I thought he’d be when he signed but he wasn’t that bad today. I actually thought his hold up play and general play was good today if he could just stay onside it would be much better, not that I think it would make much difference as the rest of the team bar Hazard were shocking anyway.

I always wonder how opponents seem to be able to get past our defender(s) so easily, just need a dribble and maybe some one-twos, while we would need about 935 passes to get past opponent's DM. and I haven't even talked about getting a shot on target

I am not sure about this. Personally i don't think RLC copes well with high intensity pressing. He is another player that wants time on the ball. They pressed us all over the park tonight from minute 1 and at the end none of them looked knackered. That is english football at the top end and we need to rediscover the intensity that we had at the beginning of this campaign..

Pathetic, spineless and zero intent or idea what to do or who to pick up.........sh*tty performance allround and most of our players looked like footy aint their game.

The refs once Again made sure we get nothing and punished for everything...........embarrassing League and utter horrid display by us and Sarri.

We are awful without the ball all season long. this is not plan B, this is within the plan A, no matter if it's working on not.

Kepa needs to put his act together. In football 2 or 3 saves do not justify 2 silly conceded goals. this is not the first time this season he screwed up. I don't care about the saves, he was the main reason to lose this game. Yes, we played terribly and we would probably lose again some other way, but  that doesn't matter now.

Why ask the question if you don’t care for the answer? Wait don’t reply because I literally couldn’t care less about what you have to whinge about.

Hazard picks the team, organises training, etc, Sarri is just a puppet.  And this comes from a current member of the squad.

Terrible performance, the worst of the season. Similar to the last time we played them, they wanted it far more than us and that shouldn't be acceptable. Losing to Tottenham twice in a row is bad enough, but to lose like that on both occasions is a joke.

Sarri has us playing football that is easier on the eye, but the weaknesses are steadily starting to be exposed. We are dropping points more frequently now and the performances have dropped all over the team. People can say unbeaten until today all they like, but the fixture list has been kind to us and we had all of our toughest games until today at home, and we only got one win. If this is what it's going to be like away from home against teams that have the ability to hurt us then we are in trouble.

Kepa was definietly not the reason we lost this game. In fact, he was the only bright spot of an appalling performance.

Not turning up for a match against Spuds is a cardinal sin. It's impossible to not be too kneejerk today , we were awful and fortunately we didn't get what we deserved today. Not good enough by all today, this is the biggest match of the season and we got bullied by a team that wanted to win more.
