Uhm, did you see his reaction today? Does he look happy to not start the game? This is not a Daniel Sturridge situation, a guy who was happy to be injured and get paid while he was running betting scams and going to concerts.

So I read that Pulisic "felt something" in his hamstring and they are going to get it scanned.

He did get right back up after he slipped.  I am hoping that this turns out to just be a precautionary thing.

He was upset afterwards but that was probably just because they told him they were going to pull him.

Held accountable for being unlucky with injuries? You continue to amaze me with the levels of intelligence you have.

I work respectable job and I might say I have value to my team. So does Pulisic. If I keep getting sick days in like 50% of the time, at some point I will be fired or be forced to quit rather.

My intelligence should not be a primary concern to a mere mailman or bartender. Go grab your Sunday drink and go to the bathroom to suck your best friends cock in the nearest closet. You didn't get the usual beating every other year because of Covid and you are overexcited now. Calm down

With Werner and CHO able to operate that left flank, Pulisic can take his time to have proper rest and recovery.

Maybe Lamps should restrict him to 1 game a week for now or 45mins per game until his body holds up better.

Robben used to be like that too until his later years.

Not really sure we want to be playing Werner as a LW because he has zero discipline & roams around. Perfect opportunity to give CHO more games & develop him IMO.

It's not just a case of being unlucky anymore, there must be something about him that causes these injuries.

Probably won't make any difference. Some players just can't stay fit. Robben spent his whole career picking up injuries.

He made the gods angry.

I did not see much of Robben in his early years, but he seems to have quite a decent career with Bayern.

Yes. Physically he was very fragile in his time with us, and only rarely reached the heights he was capable of. On his day, he was phenomenal, but from memory he never really shone in the biggest games.

He had a fantastic career in Munich (OK, he had a bit of a low point on 21.5.12 😃), and he seemed to be less injured there than with us.

That's what was amazing about Robben, he must have picked up easily over a 100 injuries on paper in his career yet still had a long and fruitful career.

Whereas Wesley Sneijder who was a top-class player and had a similar injury record to Robben drastically declined by 28/29 from having so many injuries. I'm just hoping this doesn't have a bad effect on Pulisic.

From what I remember, Robben had a lot of hamstring injuries, so clearly once he left us he managed to get a handle on it a bit better. Maybe it came with age and physical development, but I do think he saw a specialist for it. Michael Owen was a fast player affected by numerous hamstring problems as well, mostly from being played a lot from a young age, and ultimately it shortened his career. I'd like to think Christian is at a point where with the right approach, he can ultimately overcome these problems and I'm pretty sure Lampards approach to how often he plays him must be factored around that rather than any theories about disliking him etc. I'm hopeful it's just a reaction to a very physical and demanding league, as well as a particularly gruelling schedule right now, and he can work his way through it.

Very frustrating, but I can't even imagine how he is feeling.  I'm actually glad to see the reaction from him that we got as he came off the pitch against Burnley.  Had he just walked over, put on a hoody and sat in the bleachers, I'd certainly get "Sturridge" vibes from him.  But he showed that he's more annoyed than any of us fans watching him.

Does anyone know if he's ever had back injuries? I've had back issues for a long time, and one of the things that can lead to is a felling of pulled hamstrings constantly.  I'm sure the medical staff would have picked up on this, but just wondering if there is a history of it.

Kind of agree that he should be used sparingly until he's fully fit, and maybe do the whole "oh, sorry, he picked up an injury again!" Before he trails off to play some friendly for the US National team against Barbados or wherever.

I think 1 game a week or something like that might be the smart thing to do for a while until you can trust that his Hamstring is going to hold up better.

I still get the feeling that he's going to be fine.   Lampard said he felt something in his Hamstring.  My guess is he felt something, mentioned it to a trainer or something while he was warming up and the trainer pulled him or told Lampard and Lampard pulled him. . . then he was upset and threw his warm up bib on the ground.   I think he was ready to play and Lampard just got him out of there because he wants to be super careful about the injury.

I havn't heard the results of the scan, would be interested to know how that turns out.

We US supporters don't even want him to show up to the National team for these meaningless friendlies. We rather he stay with Chelsea and recover properly.

The reaction says it all.  Really admire is character and spirit.  I hope he isn't putting too much pressure on himself - we all know his quality.  In the interim gives Odoi a chance to impose himself also.

Hopefully his body gets more healthy and these niggles get put behind him. Would be a real shame if his career gets blighted by them like RLC.

Pulisic took some pretty hard knocks in both the United and Krasnadar games. My question is what kind of treatment and training schedule did he have after those games? Many professional teams give players maintenance days regularly to keep them fresh. Chelsea seemed to have quite a few injuries while training last year. I think it is time to look at training methods as well as how Chelsea treats player's injuries.
