January 16, 20197 yr Definately the best keeper I've seen for us. I don't think I will ever feel as confident in the defence as what i did 2004-2006. The bravery he showed to still put his on line after that little threatening injury, is an example to not only the football world, but to everyone who has suffered a set back in their life. Legend of the game, as well as our club, and a fantastic person aswell.
January 16, 20197 yr Great tribute from Didier: https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2019/1/16/didier-drogba-pays-tribute-to-former-chelsea-team-mate-petr-cech?cardIndex=0-2
January 16, 20197 yr Shame that we didn´t give him a contract years ago, so he left a top club to join Arsenil. But he was, is and will ever be one of us - a true legend and a superb goalkeeper, may be the best of all keepers we had (and we had a couple of very good keepers).

Regarding big Pete, has any keeper ever regularly been so influential in big games.
January 23, 20197 yr The greatest keeper we've ever had. From Rennes for just over 11 million. Thanks for everything, and Didier is right; were it not for Petr, we'd not have lifted the CL in Munich that night.
April 26, 20197 yr Sign him up! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/04/26/chelsea-preparing-offer-petr-cech-role-end-season/
April 26, 20197 yr The thing about Cech that always struck me was how calmly and intelligently he spoke in every interview I ever saw him give. An absolute legend in the greatest team we ever had.
April 26, 20197 yr So we’d have our goalkeeping dynasty of Cech, Carlo and Hilario all reunited. Happy days are here again.
April 26, 20197 yr Good to have more of our leaders around the club. Most promising thing I read in the article was that there will a full review of coaching and scouting in the summer.

April 26, 20197 yr @charierreThe more I think about it I honestly don't mind Blanc. He did well with France (before the current crop of stars) and at PSG (where he gave us a good few games when we actually had a good team). He does well with young players, speaks English and has played here before which means he gets the English game. When you consider it there aren't a lot of good options left. Frank isn't ready yet in my view. I'd be fine with Blanc if Sarri was moved on.
April 27, 20197 yr Sign him! We need our smart legends back to the club. Frank and JT to follow, please.
