He did not get bored, however we sure are sh*t this season.

I think the opposite. We, as fans, are mad at the moment and everything looks doom and gloom, but the reality is that the vacant job at Chelsea is an opportunity to good not to be looked at by ANY top manager. The reality is that this squad is filled with talent and we have Kante back on top of all this. Is he back to his old self? We don't know yet, but surely he is ready for a season with no European football and only one match per week. Kante and Enzo Fernandez in the pivot is one hell of a combo. Added to the other players, I'd say this team, under the right manager, will have no problems making top four. Even challenge for the league title should they make a good start in the first 9-10 rounds. This team with a one week rest in between games and full of confidence is capable of big things. And frankly we should be prioritizing PL glory next season and go all in for that, it's been too long since our last league title.

I keep seeing us linked to players, can we just stop buying players constantly and give the squad a chance to settle down? What’s the point in signing another 6 players in summer? We’d be in the same boat next season.

We need a new first team keeper. A new DM. A new Striker. A new ATM or 2 (to replace any of Kai, Felix, Madueke, Ziyech, Pulisic)

So that's at least 4 new players needed.

I think the trouble is - as a direct consequence of the damage done so far, ie overspend coupled with foregone revenue - none of this will be possible. The projected revenues have not materialised thanks to no CL next year etc.Fans have overestimated  the depth of these owners’ pockets thanks to a combo of Roman era conditioning and their reckless spending so far which some are extrapolating into the future. See also posts by @WhiteWall

I said months ago that I was worried about the ridiculous money this club are spending and was fired back upon by several posters saying "you don't become a billionaire by not understanding how to run a business blah blah blah" and now look. Clearly Todd doesn't know how to run a football club. We are finished.

In less than a year I think we have become worst than Arsenal!! It took years for the Arsenal decline, us about 9 months and some arrogant twat owners.  
 

I was really behind the new owners and gave them the benefit of doubt but I can now see they are absolutely clueless and we are in serious trouble for the next few years.

They think Football is like American sports where you can’t get relegated or there is no financial penalties. 

I don’t think the crap with Corden is real but I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t something to it.

All they had to do was keep everybody in place from 12-18 months and have a slow but smooth transition but no we are rich so we know everything we want all the old out and our people in!!

We've seen Liverpool, Arsenal, and United go through some slumps, but when we go bad we go BADDD. 

We seem to always have that great season and catastrophic season in us. I'm hoping we bounce back but looking at the finances, it's pretty alarming. I can only hope the American knows what he's doing and it's not as bad as it looks. 

God it is imperative we get back on the right track next season, if we have another season like this we could be well and truly finished.
