Hmmm in or out?

I'm torn.  I think his Napoli team played nice stuff, but ultimately playing nice stuff is pointless if there are no rewards.  I also think his CV is utter dogsh*t, which it is.

I am also against the constant sacking and hiring of managers, but we are so successful whilst doing it. You almost have to put up with it.  I don't doubt Sarri is a good coach, but it';s whether he is the 'right' coach and at times, i think our job might be too much for him. But at other times i think "give him a season or 2, with 'his' players (hate that cliche)"

I think Sarri is too stubborn and ignorant right now aswell with tactics and styles etc, and unless he changes; what we want will be irrelevant. I kind of expect him to go back to his 433 tonight.  Simply because I would be surprised to again see Higuain and Kovacic benched to name 2, along with the fact we have just played 120mins 3 days ago.

He has to learn to stop constantly playing underperformers, too.  We are not professional managers, but everyone can see from a mile off where it's going wrong.  I don't like what many Serie A fans say either, that Sarri will blame everyone except himself, or his system.

so in a nutshell I would not be against him getting rest of this season and next.  But if he went should we lose tonight, it wouldn't surprise me, either.  And i don't think he would be totally hard done by

Atm Sarri is choosing the right team and the likes of CHO and Loftus Cheek are getting minutes. I even see them breaking into the team if Sarri stays.

He needs help though. The Kepa fiasco has shown that Sarri is not getting any help. As much as i love Zola, he is too nice and was doing nothing when Sarri was going crazy. I wish we had Terry or Wise besides Sarri. You dont want to mess with those two because clearly our players need a backside kicking at times.

He really is not.  Sunday was a one off i suspect.  soon find out tonight and v Fulham

Well done Sarri! Two very hard fixtures and even if one of them didn't go our way he's definitely come back from a very difficult position.

Oh and great performance from Cab, I don't even want to see Kepa's face quite honestly, he can f**k off for all I care.

He's found out you cant high press everyone all the time. When we did do it tonight it worked a treat however.

Props

I think that's mostly to do with the player limitations, he's had to adapt, fair play to him he has done it and we've been much better.

But I expect him to go back to Plan A instantly when the season is over with, should he still be here, I hope he is.

Seems to me that him facing the prospect of getting sacked has made him realize he needs to adjust to this league.

Our last two games have been promising in that sense. Now we need to keep these performances up.

Good call benching Kepa too. Willy should stay in the team until he makes a few mistakes for me.

You know, all Kepa needed to do was to make that easy save on Arguero's horrible penalty, and his not leaving the match for penalties would have been probably justified, 2 saves out of 5 shots.  But no, he let a super-soft penalty into the net, and he must take the consequences of his action.  One save out of Five does not cut the mustard.  As you can tell, I am still pissed, just like Slojo.

Well that's not right, I mean you're correct people probably wouldn't have cared.

As Mourinho said, Kepa tried to be a hero, but he also undermined the Managers authority in front of everyone and made them look fragile, he completely embarrassed this club. Whatever saves he made or didn't make is irrelevant for me, he undermined the manager.

If Sarri turns things around and delivers a successful spell we are so going to have the "f**k Sarri ball" chants thrown back in our face for a generation.

If he stays, I would like to see us bring in Koulibaly. Start to phase out Luiz and bring Christensen in. It may be difficult to negotiate with Napoli, but there was rumours that Koulibaly would be granted the option to leave in the summer. Bring Reece James back to compete with Azpi for the RB spot. Bring in a goal scoring, creative CM. Stick with Pulisic as RW, and if Hazard leaves then either play Hudson-Odoi on the LW or invest in a world class wide attacker. Probably gonna need a top class striker too. If we are allowed the summer to spend money on players, then can see the club investing a hefty amount on players, as well as selling a handful too.

I think people really need to accept we aren't going to get close to Koulibaly...Juventus and united both desperate for him, we aren't going to compete.

Juve maybe not, but if we land CL over United then that will make us a better prospect than them.

Plus being based in London is still probably a much better proposition than Manchester in the eyes of many players ... a few intangibles in the overall package aside from the pure footballing side of things

Sarri has proved a few people wrong including myself. Lets hope it continues.

Koulibaly is a dream and in my opinion we dont need him now, Rudiger is a beast too. What we need i think should be a scoring midfielder and a decent striker, jovic is young and talented. I also believe that if CHO is patient next season he will be a starter under Sarri.

We'd pay less than united.

Always fantastic beating Tottenham, well done Sarri, the players and the fans.

I do wonder what we've really accomplished this season, though.

* We're back to being defensively solid, as the players asked to defend lower.

* Youth are not being integrated

* Attackingly we're as poor as ever

I hope everything turns out well with Sarri, but I can't really see that we have taken any positive steps thus far.

What's the hype with Koulibaly? The guy is 28 and we will have to spend a fortune to get him. Don't forget the EPL is much different to the Italian league, by the time he clocks 29 or 30 he will like struggle with the intensity and pace of this league and Napoli would have invested a little of our money in a younger promising defender.

Good few days for sarri. 2 good performances, and his handling of kepa has stamped some authority in the dressing room.

A week ago I said we have stop to pressing high in the big games, which is what we have done, and its given us a better base to get a result.

Hopefully we can string a decent run together now and finish the season strongly.

Good, it might be a lesson for our fans to be more patient.
