Manchester United has applied to install rail seating. Joining others who have applied or installed rail seating/standing. Given that a lot fans stand at games e.g. those in the Matthew Harding Lower is it now time to allow clubs ,irrespective of which division they play in, to install safe standing. I understand that it is allowed in Germany and has worked there. So why not here. I personally wouldn't stand but only because I have a dodgy right knee and if I stand in the same place for a long time it plays up. But if others wish to stand.

He`s being looked after in the media, many of them going with his apology rather than being outraged at his "Joke". Now the overreactions to other things is ridiculous, the Silva one especially. But its the hypocrisy that annoys me, if this had been a Chelsea player I guarantee he wouldnt be given as much leeway as Alli is getting.

Didn't Kenedy get into a lot of trouble a couple of years ago for posting something derogatory about China in the media while in preseason there? I think that even the FA got involved and the player got fined by the Club.

I just saw that. It’s pretty crazy. I’m sure they’ll fight it but I’m sure they’ll miss next season. I guess they’ll give the CL spot to fifth place or will only three PL teams go?

I've been expecting something like this with City for some time now. Hopefully they don't get the ban reduced through an appeal.
