Mason Mount

Featured Replies

@Scott Harrisis right.

Kai Havertz and Arsenal have shown us far more respect that Mount and United have done.

Let that sink in. Kai who has gotten grief from match going fans and Mount who has nothing but support and love from both home and away fans.

Tibo Mount.

Pathetic fans im seeing still sticking up for this utter SNAKE. Leaving us at our lowest and begging for more money that is not even deserved. Doesnt respect the fans or the club in general. Offered him incredible wages but the greedy little teacher's pet wants to leave for a direct rival.

and to think people spent thousands on a banner for the "boy who had a dream"  😂😂
hope he goes on to have a miserable career at united. Hopefully we do get that nice fee 60m fee for him though.

Not a legend, not proper chels!

We have tried, he has told us he won't sign and wants to leave according to a few reports.

Both c**ts! If respect is given to players that have left, it's Kova and Kante, that were probably asked if they 'fancied' the moves.

Kai and Mason both pushed for it!

Didn't expect anything more from Kai, I did from Mase.

Gotta stop expecting better from Chelsea people from Portsmouth I guess. @Bluesince66the one bright light there...

Way to go about destroying your legacy at the club. Good on the Board for sticking to their asking price and not letting Mount go on the cheap. If United want him so badly they can pay up. Like Arsenal did for Havertz. IMO I don’t think we’ll miss Mount that much. Nkunku is more creative and clinical in his position. Use the Mount money towards Caicedo. In addition I’ve got a feeling we’re still in the market for at least another midfielder and a centre forward.

Absolutely right. No further discount for a top 4 rival with bottomless pits of accessible cash.

No point, he wants to leave. Id rather we let him go and focus on those that want to play for the badge.

Everybody still hoping he sorts his differences out and signs a new deal, I’m likening to 14 year old lads refusing to accept they have been dumped by their GF. It’s over! 😂

So United have had a 50m bid rejected and they haven’t walked away. If we can get 60m here - or near as damn it, I might start to think Todd and his happy Herbert’s might know what they are doing. They have bossed these moves so far.

Ask yourself the question; If Mason Mount was NOT a Chelsea player and was at Liverpool, United, Arsenal or Brighton 😉 and we were being linked with him for £65m, would you want us to conclude the signing????? I bloody wouldn't. We should take the money and let the boy and the REAL SNAKES, his father & agent f**k off into the sunset.

Basically Mount is gone. Never saw this coming to be honest. Is Mount just ready for something new? Is the new ownership something he doesnt like? Does that social media bird stalker case have a part to play? So many questions.

I know, it’s interesting how some players have signed quickly and others haven’t. One reporter was saying he’s been told things about the Chelsea setup/dressing room that he’ll reveal shortly.

It really needs Pochettino to get them re-focused on the football side of things. It’s all abit messy.

This is my point actually. It is sad that it has come to this but I also absolutely see the points that others are making regarding his and his agent's standpoint and actions.

The reality is, as we know form and fame is fleeting and will alsways fluctuate. The stark reality is that him leaving wouldn't actually hurt us on the pitch, currently as he hasn't been playing. Whether by injury, loss of form, or attitude, it matters not, he hasn't been present.

We want the money that he is worth in relation to similar players. What do United value Sancho as. They are prepared to let Sancho leave whilst pushing to sign Mount, ergo they must value Mount more highly.

He wants to leave. Just act with a bit of decorum, Man Utd pay us what we are due and let's not look back. I already think, just in playing as an attacking midfielder that can play off of a striker, let alone being able to play as an out and out striker, we are already trading up with Nkunku.

If its true that he's really pushing then thats quite sad. If he wants to leave then fair enough but right now he's actively weakening the clubs leverage in the negotiations and that's weak.

Exactly, it's not like we are losing Frank Lampard here. We are not losing a generational midfielder, we are losing a good player to a rival and I know the opinions of rival fans you should take with a pinch of salt but the general consensus for Utd fans is that they can't believe they could be paying upwards of 60m for him and most don't want him.

Both Mount and Havertz are talented but they have had plenty of time to succeed here and maybe the environment is just not right for them to do that and it's time for the to club move on without them so we can have a clean slate and quite frankly im excited by it.

Let's be honest though. Mount succeeded here, only recency bias to claim otherwise.
Didn't last season but who did? We all know that was one screwed up season.

Our attack has been woeful ever since we sold Hazard to Madrid. We have not challenged for the title ever since Conte left and if that's where the club and ownership want to be then a clear out is needed.

It depends on the ambitions of the club, has he succeeded with the clubs expectations? No and the same goes for all our attacking players not just Mount. Hence why most of them are getting sold and replaced.

I know it was great to have Lampard come in under the transfer ban with all the youth but if anything that season and the window that followed set us back years because we did not have a plan going forward and bought players on name without any plan to fit them into a system.

Let's hope we can keep him. Frankly he will suit the Pochettino game and it is always good to keep genuine home-grown talent.

Can't help but feel the last two seasons have been hard on him in particular. Maybe too much damage has been done.
