No not necessarily in the Mount position, whatever that is, and what is it? Is it on the left of the mid three or is it wide left or right?
No my point, and I always feel like a dummy in these forums because so many know so much, is that felix will play and some other attacker has to miss out. And since Mount isn't really a winger and certainly isnt doing much defensive work its him.

As far as I can see when Felix plays we will have four attackers of whom two are wide felix is one and at the moment havertz is the other. Again probably making too many assumptions I have Mudryk, Stirling and Madueke as the main competitors for the two wide positions.

Where does Mount play in your system?

I honestly don't care where Felix and Mount will play. Left, right or in the middle.

Mount is very good at playing deeper making off the ball run, carrying the ball forward from deep and making passes from deep (he has struggled to do all of this recently but that is whole another story).

I don't want Felix to do any of this. I want felix to get the ball as high as possible just behind a st, make run behind opp line or even play as st. Basically I want Felix to get number. Get shot, get goal, get assist you name it.

My preference is something like

Kai

Murdyk - Felix - Mount - James

Enzo - Dm

Chilwell - Cb - cb

With Felix closer to kai

Defensively it will be

Kai

Murdyk - Felix - Mount

Enzo - dm -

Chilwell - Cb - cb-james

I want sterling who has by far the best h]goal scoring history of any chelsea player in the premier league. Not even close for the others. So in my team if you want mount then either mudryk or Felix or havertz miss out.

I agree that mount is good at moving the ball from the midfield forward and making space and some good key passes but that is not enough in my book. If he is only doing that in attack he needs to do a lot more in defence.

There’s far too many weird band wagon fans following chelsea that think stuff like this is okay: 22FBF677-EB48-41EC-A539-7B69C610F98E.thumb.png.c9badaad55bdd9ed8e2df54310fd6712.png

I mean you can clearly see that’s either a bit or an idiot. No one sensible would respond to a post about a tragedy with that statement.

If you want Sterling to get goal then I will drop murdyk. Most of sterling goal with City come from him attacking the far post or cutting from left and shoot. Futhermore we have Reece on the right who is a terrific crosser

So he want 300k a week for 7 years?

WTF. Dude thinks he's prime Lampard or something

Any negotiations about his future at Chelsea will be strictly confidential, that figure is £110 million in wages, if you believe that bollocks you are gullible.

Oh my god, where you in the negotiations, we have a proper insider here.....

The toxicity increased a few notches since Jorginho left, as the Jorginho camp are letting out their frustrations on Mount in the twitters-sphere. It’s annoying as actual genuine criticism of Mount (which is valid) is being thrown in with the vitriol; for which certain folks can’t tell the difference and lump it all together as one.

You know where you don’t get this? Following the Women’s team. It’s so refreshing that every is just nice and not trying to out c**t each other.

Christ Jorginho hasn't been here for a week and he's still getting blamed for something

Good place for them. Keeps them away from here! We'll most of them anyway...

I said fans, not the man himself. 🤦‍♂️ Particular twitter spaces are a waste land for it and as mentioned, it’s a shame genuine criticism is now ‘an agenda’ by default due to these clowns. Although it’s all probably a more overarching symptom of culture and the world at the minute, online at least.

Anyway, never understood the support of players, they all come and go and the club is all that remains.

I know I was just joking.

I rarely delve into reading these daft accounts' opinions on anything. A solid 80% of them fall under the category of either children or people who have picked Chelsea out of a hat with the 'big 6' names in it.

It's fine to have your opinion on any player, that's part of being a fan, but going to the point of messaging a player telling them they're sh*t and to leave the club isn't being a fan, it's being a d**khead.

I think the criticism is valid. I am a fans of Mount and I think he has been awful.

Let's ignore the nonsense criticism or abuse, those are just nonsense.

But some of the criticism are just clueless. Why Mount can't feed ball through a gap while running? Why can't he pass to the right when he look left? Why can't he drop next to Enzo when there are already 5 players at the back?

You'd be surprised how often this happens on Chelsea posts currently. Doesn't matter if its a bit or not its weird and disgusting. Mason Mount is the most overly and unfairly hated player in the clubs history.

Clueless to you, you mean?

I would expect any professional footballer (a midfielder performing at a top club at that) to perfectly weigh a pass through a gap while running, to scan the area before receiving the ball to know where the runners are so he can pass to the right when he's looking left, and to yes, drop in and help with the build up in transition. Shocking right?  Potter was seen countless of times instructing both Gallagher and Mount to close the gap between themselves and Enzo against Fulham, so the narrative this was some tactical ploy instead of two players who really don't understand the positioning is far fetched.

I think the criticism on Mount's awareness when he has the ball is the most valid of the lot. Mount's tunnel vision and his inability to perform the pass correctly has been the biggest, truly the biggest hindrance in his overall game and why he has stalled for a good while. His awareness has been shocking.  It's at a point where you can literally see it every match week. Either he misses the runner completely, or underperforms the pass by overhitting it or under hitting it.

The pass he missed against Fulham when Felix fed the ball to him and expected it back in space was shocking.

“You could see Felix face like WTF how can you not see that return pass”

We watch football in bird eye view. It is easy to see, this guy is open, this guy us not. That is not what you see on football field at all.

Even pep said, it is easy for us to pause, stop the TV and said and say why don't you pass here and there. But you don't see what the player see, you don't feel whether the pass that he received is behind him, slow, bobble.

But more importantly I want to know

"Potter was seen countless of times instructing both Gallagher and Mount to close the gap between themselves and Enzo against Fulham"

When did you see this or hear this?
