Simeone has won 1 major trophy in 5 years, the Europa League. Changing to a manager with a completely different style of football means a complete rebuild once again, throughout the whole squad. You say it hasn't hurt our trophy cabinet, but we aren't anywhere near as consistently successful as we were few seasons back. We are so up and down as a team now, in and out of the top 4, no longer competing for league or looking close to doing that. The lack of stability is a major reason for that.
