Kepa useless... Great shot but Cech or even the snake in Madrid would have stopped that. We don't have a goalkeeper (or a defence) 

That goal was on me, I was talking to my curse of a mate on Facebook. I literally said “Whatever. Stop bothering me during the match, curse!” and they go and do that!

Kepa isn’t good enough for this level that’s the issue. I actually think spending £70m on him was a worse decision than the £40m we spent on Drinkwater. 
 

At least he was a PL champion and played alongside Kante so you could see the rationale. Kepa who I imagine most of us hadn’t really heard of was a massive, massive gamble that hasn’t paid off at all.

WTF is going on...turn around to answer the phone and see a Zaha screamer going into the net...

We complain about Barkley being slow to react at times, but James has been as bad if not worse at times this season.

Come on, Val.  It was central shot, hit hard yes, but beyond that it should be stopped.

Still no back to back clean sheets for Kepa in the PL. 

I guess this is the difference between a decent goalkeeper and a top goalkeeper.
Our previous goalkeeper would have saved this one.

Same as against Watford. His improved performance in the second half covered over how awful the first half was.

Can someone tell me why Azpilicueta was marking Benteke?

Last game he was good. Don't count the game when he went to play in midfield that's not his natural position.

Definitely harsh. I haven't seen replays (not watching live) but I saw a clip of the goal from normal angle and that was going at a speed in the top of the net. Not sure any keeper would have got to that. Shouldnt have given Zaha that space.

He’s a great talent but he is far from the world beater a lot of our fans like to make out. He’s still well behind Azpilicueta as well and if we sign a LB in the summer. He will rightly continue to be backup to Azpi.

Do you think Chelsea leave training with a false sense of security practicing against Kepa? No joke. We might even score corners in training.

He wasn’t good at all. He was terrible in e first half & improved massively in the second. Overall he could pass as OK but he certainly wasn’t good.

Barkley/Willian hasn’t been tracking the overlapping run often leaving James exposed in defence.

exactly.... thats why we need kante. We are soft down the middle and hopefully dont figure that out. The next game is crucial

He was bad first 20 min or so. Far from terrible.

Wait a second, how much did Chelsea pay for Kepa?  Are you implying his transfer was a record setter at the position?

Game turning in Palace's favour after that goal which seems to have rattled our boys.  Surely need to kill this game off in the 2nd half before Palace start muscling their way back into it.
