October 20, 20205 yr Nil nil. At least we were very solid at back. Silva and Mendy have that solidifying effect. Silva especially was excellent. In attack we were way too hasty. Credit to Sevilla. They really came at us and were brilliant at what they do.
October 20, 20205 yr Right now it feels like we are going in the wrong direction. That was a poor, poor game again.
October 20, 20205 yr Interesting how Mendy and Silva come in and we keep a clean sheet against a good team despise Zouma‘s best efforts to f**k it up.
October 20, 20205 yr By far our hardest team in the group stages. 0-0 I'll take that Sevilla are a great team out played us on all areas of the pitch but we hung in there, kept a clean sheet and got a point. We don't need all the criticism I've seen on here tonight I think we should all be happy with that

October 20, 20205 yr Ridiculous to say that I’m happy with a point at home, they deserved more , so I count my blessings . The positive from tonight, Mendy looks like he’s competent and can be trusted - thank f**k !
October 20, 20205 yr Gosh, all of our new offensive signings playing together at once and each one looked invisible somehow.
October 20, 20205 yr We defended well, Zouma still looked a little shaky but all in all a decent start to the Champions League.
October 20, 20205 yr Two clean sheets out of two with the Mendy and Silva axis and this time there can be no clutching at the we played a defensive team straw.
October 20, 20205 yr We lack cojones no to quote the great Troy Deeney but Sevilla was always first on 2nd balls, pressing high in the 90 min, diving into tackles etc... we just look like we dont have energy or lack of willing to win at any cost. Anyway clean sheet.
October 20, 20205 yr I’ll take that. Sevilla are a bloody good side, better than Valencia...but annoyed with our touch/passing at times. Werner disappeared in second half and we had no out ball. But far tighter at the back, bar Zouma. Important clean sheet ahead of Utd game
October 20, 20205 yr The lads looked tired after 70 mins.. must be the number of games Havertz and Werner have played recently..

Don't buy that, they didn't do enough going forward to say they deserved a win, Mendy only had to make one serious save and even that wasn't too difficult. A draw was very much the right result.
October 20, 20205 yr The only positive I can think of it’s the clean sheet. I feel it for Werner nobody can question his work ethics. I even seeing him dropping deep too deep just to get the ball. I wonder what will Man U game be like ??
October 20, 20205 yr Sevilla dominated the ball but we did create the better chances. Fair result in the end
October 20, 20205 yr We can do 3-3 and we can do 0-0, now we just need to combine those and beat united 3-0 at the weekend. Think it is clear how important Mendy and Silva are going to be for us. A clean sheet and that's despite Zouma's best efforts to give them a few chances!

October 20, 20205 yr Played a proper European team who really had the better of the match, Temo came tantalizingly close against the run of play but they shutdown any fluidity up front very well. On another day would have lost it at the end, Zouma reverting to type again but I do feel he should be stuck with unless we see Tomori. Gone it appears are the days of smashing group teams at home and especially Spanish ones. Nobody out there excelled today just did the bare minimum and kept a clean sheet which lately around here is a very good thing.
October 20, 20205 yr I’ll take that, it was important that we didn’t lose. James looked more switched on than normal, played well today. Silva was good and we had a professional goalkeeper in between the sticks. Win our next 2 group games and we’re in good shape. Not a great performance but not a bad result.
October 20, 20205 yr I don’t think we got outplayed.. we got into good areas but each time didn’t deliver a good enough final ball..fair result considering how lil either dude created..
October 20, 20205 yr I'm not going to read too much into this game performance wise. We kept a cleansheet and did look better and more organised defensively. Silva and Mendy were brilliant. Chilwell also, what an improvement on the left side. Reece James also put in a great performance. Not too impressed with our attackers however, I never thought I would be saying that after the match, it's usually the other way around. I thought Kovacic looked excellent though. Mount offers nothing outwide, he needs to stop playing there ASAP. Besides that turn and run by Kai he had a bad game, offered very little and was dispossesed a lot.
