They definitely were playing that way, it just wasn't perfected at the time, they were still learning. Once they got the right players in and the players they kept on got used to the tactics, things came together for them.

Lampard won't get the same financial backing next season, not after we have spent all of the money we have just spent. If Lampard is sacked, I don't even expect the coach following him will get a ton of money to spend.

Wow, I just cant seem to grasp the ability of this forum to pin this abyssmal performance in the recent games on Timo and Kai. Considering the fact that one of them was being played on the wing when he was clearly not feeling confident there and the other got benched for the past 2 months.

Well, let me refresh your memory. We had only one, just one game where they both played on their natural positions in the PL against Soton. In that game Timo scored twice ans got an assist and Kai also put in one. I will not be mentioning the games against some plumbers from League 1 and 2. So, when Hakim came back, instead of using Timo, Kai, Hakim and Puli and build the team around them, we decided to experiment and make space for a certain love child that only runs like a headless chicken.

I am honestly gutted with those takes, really ...

i think we’ll sign Haaland in the summer. Werner and Haaland combo is going to be unstoppable. Just hope Lamps is still here to steer the ship.
