Imagine if TT answered the press the way Howe did yesterday. He would be utterly slaughtered. With Howe's refusal to engage on Saudi.they just moved on.

Indeed. English manager though.

Worth pointing out TT said he would be here till may. Previously he wanted to stay as long as possible.

I get him hedging his bets there. If we are asset stripped or relegated to the conference why would a manager of that talent Stay.

‘Nothing has changed so far for me. My last information [for the Lille game] is that we have a plane so we can go by plane and go back by plane. If not we go by train, if not we go by bus, if not I drive a seven-seater and I will do it.

The lads backpacking through Europe just to go to matches

We used to do it, and I bet they would enjoy it just as much as we did....great times.

I was a little worried by his statement but I think the question was more “are you going to leave right now” rather than “are you staying until 2024.” The context is slightly different.

Eh. We won't be relegated/liquidated/go administration.

The UK gov has given us some support in that and while there are cases to why trust them, if they wanted to finish off Chelsea they should have not given us a special license.

So all this talk about TT leaving is pointless. It's only not pointless when we are actually in administration.

I know it's hard to think about football at the moment with everything going on but the win on Sunday was big considering we still want to be as close to the top 2 as possible.

Now City have dropped points we could close the gap to 8 points with 9 games to play.....a pipedream sure but it's still credit to us that we're still mathematically in the race despite the season we've had off the pitch and with injuries.

Great times indeed. A world before covid and without war cutting the knees from under the club

I like your thinking. Chelsea have always done well when there's turmoil, usually with a manager sacking etc. However with this turbo charged turmoil, it could happen!

It is really hard to think about things like winning a trophy, securing top 4 when our future is uncertain. Those things seem so small on comparison.

We need to work hard on a) getting a new owner b) ensuring the business is in operation c) secure TT as our manager (under contract till 2024) d) secure player deals like Rudiger and Azpilicueta (Christensen is probably as good as gone.

After all this top 4 and CL dreams come to mind.

Tuchel would rather drive a seven seater for Chelsea than manage for Man U

i'm convinced

what's this bullsh*t about him going to Man U, where is this even based on

Tuchel had to manage through terror attacks, nuclear dressing rooms and wars, so United probably figured he needs an even bigger challenge. Bringing the dinosaurs back to life.

going from Kante, Kovacic & Jorginho to Fred, McTominay and Matic is one hell of a challenge

It's based from Jamie "Spat on a little girl" Carragher.

He's not going to United anyway lol, I'm confident Chelsea will stand strong and this is just another drama period we have season after season.

Keeping this bloke next season is the most important decision any new owner faces

It is not a decision, is a simple and easy choice.

Normally Friday would be all about the CL draw. I would however gladly draw Pool so long as Raine, the Gov and Roman do what they said they will do and select the right new owner who will safeguard our future, renovated the stadium or see us move to a new one, either way it to become THE state of the art PL stadium, and continue and improve on Roman's work on the pitch and charity work off it.

Tuchel has really shown his class since the war started. We all already knew about how good of a coach he is but his character and class has really shone through recent weeks, everyone has bombarded him questions relating to the war or Roman. Not once has he lost his head, he kept the team together, and we are still winning. Hell he even said he would drive a bus for the team.

Just because of past few weeks Tuchel has already shot up to my favourite ever manager. He hasn’t achieved as much as Mourinho has but I wouldn’t have anyone else.

We all praised Super Frank for how hard he’s had it with transfer ban, well that’s nothing compared to this. SUPER TOMMY TUCHEL

Geoff Shreaves loves upsetting our people.

He famously told Brana he was banned for the 2012 final after the win in Nou Camp.

Now he spoiled TT evening by telling him our fans are banned from attending CL games unless the sale happens quickly.

I agree and also the mentality of the squad shouldn't fly under the radar either. Pre Porto there was a lot of question marks about them when things got tough, that night combined with how they're still doing the business during this storm should bury any doubts.
