And the pass was not even on. The defender was right on Havertz and it would have been next to impossible to get the ball to Lukaku in that situation unless he feigned the shot and pull the ball back. Knowing Lukaku, he would have been offside by the time that happened. It is so annoying the way he gives up whenever he doesn't receive the ball. We should get rid if anyone is stupid enough to make a bid.

Lukaku was slightly less dogsh*t than Werner, and i like Werner

Havertz just about to apply his sublime first touch from Jorginho's pass ... and look how far away from the danger area Lukaku is LOL

 

Whoever takes control of the club going forward. 
 

One of the biggest challenges is offloading Lukaku. I want him to succeed, I want any player to do well but I’m not even sure he wants too. 
 

Timo will have a lot of suitors in the Bundesliga and Italy.

I don’t see anyone paying anywhere close to what we paid for Lukaku. Unless Newcastle tempt him away.

Yes, the pass wasn’t even on, it’s just all for ‘appearances’, Lukaku working as like a panto act for himself as that’s all he can do; try and change the agenda to the untrained eye or the less aware football fan.

It’s something I didn’t like with Tammy (although to a lesser extent) whenever he would miss and deservingly so, as his touch or shot wasn’t good enough he’d be looking up at the gods and looking ‘shocked’ after he’s hit the ball route one directly at the keeper 😅. Just wish players would cut out the bullsh*t. 

I've said this before but funnily enough, Lukaku does have an effect on the pitch. You can't really credit him for it but he divides the attention of the defenders, they are constantly worried about him just because he's a big ST with a big price tag.

He's an overpriced decoy, his best position is being marked by defenders but not being part of the play so as to not slow down the build up.

An “overpriced decoy” - what a line! I do agree though but he wasn’t really involved in the game at all. Didn’t look interested. 
 

Kai is putting him to shame. Although I think we should have used him more today, I’m glad Tuchel has dropped him because he needs to earn his place in the team - like any other player. 
 

It does feel abit that Tuchel has given up on him.

I think Tuchel gave up on Lukaku a few weeks ago, it's just that Roman is out now so the board can't criticize Tuchel's decision to not play Lukaku anymore.
