Mount has been awful all season though. This is just what the 3-4-3/3-5-2 is all about, 5 players sat in defence.

Thats a foul on Werner in any other game.

This first half has been an absolute shambles; a sh*t show. The players look absolutely petrified the second they get on the ball. Passes rushed. Too many touches. They need an absolute tooling at halftime and f**king come out this second half playing like the champions of f**king Europe, not a championship side. Shocking.

Yes we were, we were creating all of the chances and had multiple 3v3 chances in the first half. If it wasn't for poor decisions with the final pass from Mount, Lukaku, Kante and Havertz, we would have been more than a goal up before the red card.

I don't think 3 in the middle works, we need someone further up with Timo and Rom to stretch them more.

Alonso has been pretty poor as well, I think Chilwell would give us more energy on that left side.

Well this isn't working.

That was a poor half of football. Mendy, Azpi, Christensen and Rudiger were the only ones that had a good half for us.

Been totally outplayed with no outlet up front, wing backs pegged back, midfield ineffective.  Have had a bit better possession towards the end but been futile. Time for a TTT let’s see what he can do. Lbh 0-0 would be a good result now based on that 45.

No support, plus they are being closed down pretty quickly due to City having both their fullbacks spare.

Very poor, lethargic performance. Yes city are pressing well but we are so sluggish on the ball…even Kante looks a yard off his normal levels. Hopefully Tuchel can work his half-time magic again…otherwise it’s a day where getting a point will be a good result.

That was terrible. Both Lukaku and Werner providing no outlet whatsover. Big improvement needed in the second half

Hopefully Tuchel gets things turned around.

He was our only bright spark in the offensive side tbh... But we're lacking precision in the midfield areas (plus that Lukaku first touch which was very Werner and Romelu esque)

You can’t have a team with that much attacking talent and play like that. Giving them way too much respect. 
 

We built ourselves on possession football not this piss. I understand the tactic but it’s not working, we need to play our football. 

Clearly, our strategy of catching City on the counter is not working because we're just not able to break. And the couple of times that we did break, we gave the ball away again too cheaply. Something has to change in the 2nd half. Otherwise, I'm okay to take a draw from what I've seen so far.

Alonso is having one of THOSE games today. 

Disappointed by the midfield, those three should be more than capable of doing a lot more against this City side. 

Totally disappointed with that half; I thought at home we'd have a go at their back line, but  this scoreline ain't going to last if we continue allow City the room and amount of ball possession we've witnessed in the first 45.  With  no press it's like we have surrendered the 75 yards in front of our goal.   Need a kick up the arse at HT...I hate these early kick offs, we never play at our best.
