September 1, 20232 yr Really don't want us to sell Connor. Lad has really grown on me. Not least for his spoken and demonstrated love for the club. Need such types around the club.
September 1, 20232 yr Was captain just two days ago, would be strange to do that then sell him. Poch clearly rates him, can't see him leaving.
September 1, 20232 yr I love Connor's attitude and his clear affection towards the club but if it is identified he is not the right shape for our puzzle we could well cash in 45-50m. Because in the end we would be just postponing something inevitable. I am really on the fence personally over him. His scoring and shooting ability is very good but at the earlier stages of attack when he is croweded with opponent players he is very limited. He is unable to control the ball right away or turn to find a pass. That just isn't his football. Playing the way we play we need that from almost every player.

Poch has had him playing every game so far and he's been a stand out performer in every one, i'd be very concerned if the board starts selling players that Poch clearly prefers.

He is a goal scoring number 8, good at pressing and recovering but we simply don't have a natural spot for him. On the ball he is not as good as we would need him to be. I actually think he would outscore Enzo but the other sides of his football are much more limited. If we need money he is the one we can cash in on. He is on demand. If we hold on to him he Will do a job for us. I think that eventually we will sell him. Maybe next summer or even January. I can’t agree with you. For me, he’s been one of the standout players so far and he’s becoming quite central to our play style. And he will only get better as he’s showing that under Pochettino he’s improving massively. I can see him becoming one of the Kante triplets this season (impossible to be the Kante trinity).
September 1, 20232 yr His metrics are improving rapidly playing in a position he looked completely lost in this time 12 months ago.
September 1, 20232 yr It would be a poor decision to sell him, but unfortunately I can see it happen. Issue being he has just 2 years left on his contract and everything we've seen from the ownership would suggest they'd take the cash at this point rather than risk losing him for less next year or nothing in 2 years.
September 1, 20232 yr Reports are Spurs have approached us and qe have told them what we would need for a deal to happen. Spurs need to sell first apparently. Seems odd we would not just tell them to do one for a player who has started every game and was I captain last match.
September 1, 20232 yr Midfield (6's, 8's and 10's) Core: Enzo 8, Caicedo 6 and Nkunku 10 Challenging: Lavia 6/8, Ugochugwu 6 Palmer 10 Gallagher?

September 1, 20232 yr Sam Wallace says we’re negotiating with Spurs and we’re £10m apart in valuation. They’re offering £35m and we want £45m.
September 1, 20232 yr This one would annoy me. Not too bothered about Chalobah and even Maatsen (don't think he's defensively good enough for LB nor attackingly strong enough for the front areas) but there's literally no need to sell a player who will die for this club and is improving by the game to Spurs of all teams. Hopefully he does a JT and refuse to move.

Ridiculous when they have agreed to pay 45mi for Johnson. We must be desperate for cash at such prices. His minimum should be 50mill in this market, plus 10mill Spurs tax. Above all we should not be selling him.

September 1, 20232 yr I still can't make my mind up on Gallagher. Love his attitude and work ethic but not yet convinced by his technical ability and football brain. As for Tottenham, I would have let them have Jorginho, Aubameyang or Lukaku and I'm still praying they make a late move for Cucurella. But I wouldn't sell them Gallagher.
September 1, 20232 yr This hurts, i'll be quite annoyed by the Club if we sell him (to freaking Tottenham). I can just think of Odoi who haggled, down tooled and handed a transfer request to the club, really we just threw so much money at him that he had to stay. Now the Club does everything it can to sell off blue bleeding playes to again freaking f***ing Tottenham because for what? We bought Lavia, and millions other kids to just sell players who actually REALLY want to be here?! Hee?! Maybe he is not the greatest but there is for sure a place in this team for him.
September 1, 20232 yr Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg turns down a move to Fulham and his reluctance to leave could affect Ange Postecoglou's side in their pursuit of Chelsea's Conor Gallagher. - @Matt_Barlow_DM

That is a very bad deal; seems we have bought too much and now need to get rid of a few to trim down the squad, first out of the door will be the profitable ones.

September 1, 20232 yr I was not bothered about him leaving at the start of the season but his performances under Poch so far have been decent. Selling to them is bad enough but for that low a fee is embarrassing. Hope nothing materialises of this.
September 1, 20232 yr They've spunked 45m on Brennan Johnson. So now, with Richarlison, two non-goal scoring 9s.
