Conor Gallagher

Mugs if we let him go, one of the few midfielders who can actually score goals from midfield, and with Chukwuemeka/Nkunku injured we're severely lacking in that department.

With Nkunku and Chukwuemeka both injured, he's probably now the best option we have left for the central role in the 3 of a 4-2-3-1

Nkunku and Chuku were good at carrying the ball+link up to the attackers.

Can Gallagher do that? Not going to lie I am so far content with Gallagher learning this new role Poch has given him from deep. Seems to be slowly improving.

No he does not have the technique for it. Would have to be more of the late arriving in the box looking to score goals type of AM rather than link up AM.

With Santos going on loan, and the number of nice remarks that Pochettino is making to the media about Conor, plus the injuries to Nkunku and Chukwuemeka, I think it is now nailed on that Gallagher will be with us for the season, and won't be sold.

Still not sure he is good enough for where we aspire to be, but good luck to him anyway.

I think we all know Gallagher is best as an 8, but if I have to choose between him playing as a deep 6 or a 10 I actually prefer the former. Done alright thus far. Think we'll move Enzo higher up if Poch insists on playing someone behind the striker instead of going to a 4-3-3

Can you give me a name of a better midfield rotational player?

If Poch likes him and is using him, why aren’t we offering him a new deal? 2 years left. The club won’t want him running his contract down.

I think the club are playing both sides. Gallagher is made to feel wanted if nothing happens but if a decent bid came in, even a loan with an obligation, and I think the club would consider it, providing it is soon enough for us to get Poch the players he wants.

Realistically though where would Gallagher go. Abroad? I doubt it, possibly the Bundesliga.

I think we'd want £40m now or possibly a £5m loan with a £40m obligation for next year. That would rule out most of the bottom half of the EPL as this would represent a marquee signing, unlikely this late for those clubs.

Man City - Already covered.

Liverpool - Need players elsewhere

Man Utd - ditto

Newcastle - possibly, on the loan + model but Howe has already said they're done.

Spurs - A possibility but they need to shift eight out in a week, and they're all sh*te.

West Ham - Just got Kudus.

Brighton - with Enciso injured it would make sense and be hilarious for us to pump them. But we don't ever do that and they don't pay 40m for players.

Villa - with Buendia injured this has possibilities but again they are pretty well stocked and again I would be surprised if they went to 40m.

With little interest coming from abroad and there being no money there either, to me it is the politically sensible move to make Conor feel wanted as a deal currently looks difficult to do in the last week.

He's started and finished the 90 in all 4 matches. Clear as day Poch rates him. Doubt the club will sell without Poch's approval.

Poch made him the Captain.  There is continuity with having Gallagher in the squad.  Unlikely Mauricio wants to lose him at this moment in time. Next season? Who knows.

IF Gallagher were to leave. Italia would be a good choice. Our former players do well there.

Lots of talk he is going to be sold, to Spurs of all teams too.

I think he has really grown under Poch so far, clearly the manager likes him, I'm hoping he stays.

He seems to be available every game too which is really important especially in times like now. I do not think he is good enough to be starting for us but he’s certainly good enough to be a squad player.

After Mount I’ve lost any sense of attachment to players so I won’t be too sad if Gallagher goes.

Conor is Mr. Chelsea. Sell him, to Spurs of all sides, and it further decreases my opinion of these owners.

I don't think your opinion of the owners could be any lower anyway.

Paalinha to Bayern, Hojberg to Fulham, Conor to Spurs. It could happen but it's a lot of deals to get done in a hurry. I have been a huge supporter of conor and still am but its going to be a very tough midfield once Nkunku, Chuwumeka and Lavia are match fit

what did he do? He refused to sell to us, which I cannot see as much of a crime. He sold Modric to Real where he went on to a famous career. Levy doesn't sell to anyone and especially not to rivals. That is not a crime. What Levy has done wrong, according to what I read, and how the f would I really know, is to let players over run the coach.

What I think he is doing wrong right now from spuds point of view is not reinvesting the kane money. spuds have a very thin squad. without madison, who may be injury prone, they would be a bit dire. son is playing with a big bandage on his leg and looks a shadow of two seasons ago etc.

He was, for me, clear contender for the motm last night. He’s improving under Pochettino so much that I think that we’ve got a very solid, hard working, quality player in him. One of those players that are not going to stand out for their world class technique but that every team needs to fight the fight. He does want to stay and play for Chelsea and the coach rates him, why would the club sell him?

Indeed, he refused to sell to us, and I woild have us respond in kind.

Conor goes to Spurs he becomes a Spurs legend and future captain. That would be sickening.
