September 17, 20232 yr Just runs around hard. But that's it. Man City would have binned him off a long time ago.

He was arguably the best player on the pitch no named Sanchez. Still, should of buried the chance he got and that f**ked up pass to Jackson probably sums him up. Becoming more clearer why Tuchel, and now Poch, are trying to develop him playing deeper.

He made two clear cut chances prior to that f**ked up pass to Jackson and we still couldn't score. He is the least of our problems and honestly if it wasn't for him we would barely have had any chances created last night.
September 18, 20232 yr I'm hoping when more of our attackers come back he's the first one on the bench, he just kills the attack for me.

I think you'll find there's more dislike than love but that's neither here or there. He was fine today so your comment felt a bit out of place.
September 24, 20232 yr I was fine with him remaining on the team as a squad/ back up player but now he has turned into an untouchable on the team. At this point I wished we sold him now.

He was fine in positions of the pitch where he isn't needed. We need a number 10 behind our strikers so there's no point playing him when we already have Enzo (A better player doing the same role)
September 24, 20232 yr I feel sorry for him because he hasn't really put a foot wrong. The way he's being used is just redundant on a tactical level and better suited players are on the bench or are being subbed off.

Gallagher is playing the role he's told to and doing well. Seems weird to scapegoat Gallagher (Vic not you), when Enzo dropped such a stinker.
October 2, 20232 yr Put some respect on his name! Absolutely phenomenal. He is so under appreciated. Was brilliant offensively and defensively 👏
October 2, 20232 yr I think he's doing a good job, not just this game, even in the few we lost. You need a solid, hard working player in the team, may not get the headline, but give the 7/10 week in week out. I reckon Poch will keep playing him even when levia is back, although there's always the danger we will cash in on him during the next transfer window.
October 3, 20232 yr No word on a new deal for him? We have heard about Maatsen turning down multiple offers from us, but nothing about Conor?
October 3, 20232 yr I'm not Gallagher's biggest fan LOL, but Conor is showing as a better captain than Reece James, in my opinion. His main problem is that I don't think he makes the team when we have all the squad fit.

His main problem is that I don't think he makes the team when we have all the squad fit. And that's on the Team not Connor. He does a job when he is called upon.ive seen a lot better players but no matter the criticism people have for him, the one thing they all agree he is great at, is work rate. Every team needs a work horse and one that's reliable. If he had quality around him maybe he will not be looked upon for the chance creation and technical finesse in play some want but just appreciated for the harrying of opposition and cleaning up he does. Let's also remember that two seasons ago he was out on loan at Palace, last season he was in team with good appearances and found the net too. All he needs is time to play and grow. They all do. Connor is older than most at 23 but just shows how young and raw our squad is - and most first teamers are in the treatment room just now. I like fancy, but Connor is fast becoming one of , if not my favourite Chelsea player. The value of a player that loves the team he plays for and not just all about money seems lost upon some. October 3, 20232 yr Easily replacing the energy on the pitch sorely missed by Kante since he left and has far better on the ball skills. Not necessarily the first name on the team sheet when everyone is fit but going to have a huge future at Chelsea if we aren't that daft that we sell him.
October 3, 20232 yr That has to be his best performance in a Chelsea shirt - absolutely brilliant. I completely disagree with the narrative that he's only a workhorse - he proved last night that he has great ability on the ball i.e. receiving the ball on the turn under pressure, great weight of pass, should have had a brilliant assist for Maatsen. He's Chelsea through and through and getting better by the game!
