Chelsea v Liverpool (League Cup Final) Sun 27th Feb 2022 16:30 GMT

We might as well try and win this, although if we do, I'm not sure how ecstatic our celebration can be. I sincerely hope that no matter what the club/players show support of the Ukranian people, even if it won't affect the outcome of any battle. In any case the best the Ukraine and the rest of the world can hope for is an oldfashioned Kremlin coup (not knowing by whom and who would take over).

Yeah

I wonder if our team is mentally ready.

Not that confident to be honest, we're not really at our best at the moment and Liverpool quite frankly are firing from all cylinders. The scene is set for a Liverpool win and if you would ask any football fan who is going to win today they will tell you it is Liverpool, but if everything would be that straightforward in football we'd all probably be millionaires through sports betting. But we are not, nothing is won before the final whistle, so with determination and hunger and lots of pride we can beat anyone in club football. Liverpool are a top side managed by a truly great manager, but we are no pushovers, where the current Champions of the world, Chelsea FC is in it to win it!

For me the best part of today will be the previous drinks with my mates before heading to Wembley. Then, there’s going to be way too much politics in this match for my taste. I’m not looking forward to the dippers associating us with Putin, or to players not being too focus due to the circumstances surrounding the club. But nevertheless, UP THE CHELS!

f**k all the selective virtue signalling, 99% of PL football owners are citizens of countries that have caused either directly or indirectly the unnecessary death and suffering of innocent civilians including us and the yanks (Iraq, Afghanistan etc).

I want us to spank the horrible scouse c**ts, although I'm not very confident lol..

My feelings exactly

There's been two terrible decisions this weekend the City handball and even worse the boxing where someone who gets knocked down and doesn't land as many punches but still wins (Taylor- Caterall). These things come in threes I've got a horrible feeling we will be on the end of a terrible decision today seems to happen at Wembley with us recently. Can you imagine if Aspi- Mane was the other way round at Anfield or Wembley you know what the outcome would have been.

I'd rather have Spurs win it than Liverpool; vile club with the 'oh woe is me' vile fans ,who think they are entitled to win everything and blame everyone else for their misfortunes and the sad tragedies which they themselves participated in.  The media have been hoodwinked by the likes of Carragher, Souness et el and the ever grinning Klopp...I f**king hate them, always have, always will do.

For our lot today 2 things will happen, either they will dig in and win the last trophy for Roman.  I believe that ironically the League Cup was his first trophy and will likely be his last, or the players mentally won't be in it and we'll get spanked and the media will be having a field day bashing Chelsea because Roman is temporarily or otherwise off the radar off over the horizon taking his cash with him.

Yes, and both on Sunday, February 27 (17 years apart). Almost fitting in a weird way.

That settles it! I'll wear my match-winning wonder training pants to eleminate the last percentage of doubt.

I hope the team doesn't bend over for Liverpool. f**k all that. They have to put in a performance for the fans. Fans paying to go don't want to see them letting political matters get to them. It's a sport, and they are paid to perform on the field, what happens off it is regardless for those 90+ mins.

I’m finding it hard to get excited for the cup final when there is a war happening. I don’t think anyone is excited for this, Liverpool fans included.

Hopefully we’ll win but honestly it really doesn’t feel important right now. Poor Ukraine.

I think you'll find Liverpools fans are well up for it, if the one's I work with are anything to go by. They see this as them against Russia.

I have been reading some non-football sites today where even they are supporting Liverpool. And most on there don't even follow football!

Fear this is going to be a horrible experience. Not only losing the game but having to put with everyone heralding Liverpool as the saviours of football/humanity/the world during the game and afterwards.

You're thinking too much. It's a game of sport played by millionaires.

We’re at our best when all the odds are against.

Unless Lukaku starts, then we’re f**ked.
