He would be a much safer option than Osimhen. But then it might be us forcing Osimhen to make a move.

We’ll see how this unfolds… I think we still end up with Osimhen.

Would also prefer this to Osimhen, think that’s got flop written all over it.

Only concern with this is the lack of interest he has had and if there are any underlying concerns with his attitude. 

I’m down with Toney.

My worry with Osimhen is if it’s a big price tag and he doesn’t adapt it’s a big outlay.

Toney is proven in the EPL.

Although it could all be a smokescreen to hurry up Napoli.

Profile wise, exactly what we need and are lacking. Strong, experienced, can battle aerially, and fits the wage bill.

As good as Osimhen is I genuinely think Toney is a better option. Great link up play, gets into the box at the right time, clinical, would be a massive help for us at set pieces as well.

I think Guiu will likely have to go on loan then. 

Toney and Jackson's injury history almost spotless. Nkunku/Felix can play as a false 9 if needed.

Could be a decent signing but please can we stop saying he's a "proven Premier League goalscorer"? Take away the pens and he's a 1 in 3 striker at best.

Can’t afford his wages

Neither Osimhen or Toney have a better all round game than Jackson and we have enough depth with Felix and Nkunku both able to play there too. Spending money for the sake of it imo. 

Interesting to see whether this is just a ploy to scare Napoli or not.

If Jackson gets injured we are screwed, yes Nkunku can play there but id rather have Toney or Osimhen as the other option. Giui is not good enough yet.
