August 27, 20241 yr He would be a much safer option than Osimhen. But then it might be us forcing Osimhen to make a move. We’ll see how this unfolds… I think we still end up with Osimhen.
August 27, 20241 yr Would also prefer this to Osimhen, think that’s got flop written all over it. Only concern with this is the lack of interest he has had and if there are any underlying concerns with his attitude.
August 27, 20241 yr I’m down with Toney. My worry with Osimhen is if it’s a big price tag and he doesn’t adapt it’s a big outlay. Toney is proven in the EPL. Although it could all be a smokescreen to hurry up Napoli.
August 27, 20241 yr Let's wait and see if more reliable people pick up on this. Profile wise, exactly what we need and are lacking. Strong, experienced, can battle aerially, and fits the wage bill.
August 27, 20241 yr Juts want to hang on until this is definitely, totally confirmed as done and dusted Then, Toney, Osimhen, Gyokeres, Gimenez, Boniface. Any one of them. Lol.
August 27, 20241 yr As good as Osimhen is I genuinely think Toney is a better option. Great link up play, gets into the box at the right time, clinical, would be a massive help for us at set pieces as well.
August 27, 20241 yr Don't believe this one. His age is against the profile we go for, would offer no resale value.

August 27, 20241 yr I think Guiu will likely have to go on loan then. Toney and Jackson's injury history almost spotless. Nkunku/Felix can play as a false 9 if needed.

August 27, 20241 yr Could be a decent signing but please can we stop saying he's a "proven Premier League goalscorer"? Take away the pens and he's a 1 in 3 striker at best.

August 27, 20241 yr I personally wouldn't want to sign someone who bets on his own team to lose. Huge character problem.
August 27, 20241 yr Unlike the majority on here, I don't feel good about Toney. Think he's incredibly overrated. Would prefer to take the risk on Oshimein

August 27, 20241 yr Neither Osimhen or Toney have a better all round game than Jackson and we have enough depth with Felix and Nkunku both able to play there too. Spending money for the sake of it imo.
August 27, 20241 yr Can someone please check in on @just First Madueke hits a hatrick, then Carney has not yet been sold and could yet still have a place in the squad, and now we are looking to buy Ivan Benjamin Elijah Toney ( forever to be known as IBET) He needs to go and buy a lotto ticket....
August 27, 20241 yr If Jackson gets injured we are screwed, yes Nkunku can play there but id rather have Toney or Osimhen as the other option. Giui is not good enough yet.
