July 4, 20224 yr Neymar is more of a central player now, he doesn't have the same level of pace as when he was in his early 20s. He's probably best as a false 9 or CAM. He can still play off the left just don't expect him to speed past people he will just drift in field. Signing Neymar and Sterling would not interfere with each other at least on the pitch. Especially if we switch to a back 4 and can play at least 4 attack minded players. I'm for Neymar if TT wants him, I'd take a loan with an option to buy.
July 5, 20224 yr Author PSG manager Galtier on Neymar: “I want Neymar to stay here with us. He’s kind of world class player, all the managers in the world want top players like him”. #PSG “I’ve already clear ideas on my plan for Neymar here at PSG”.

July 5, 20224 yr I like the fact Todd and the hedge fund boys are going for Brazilian players. They obviously know their stuff. Plus we have always done well with top class Brazilians like Oscar, Willian, Kennedy, Pato and Luiz. Neymar has a bad rep but let's be honest, he has always looked like a selfless, hard working individual who isn't scared to put in a shift and always puts the team first. Our youngsters will learn a lot from him. I also hope is Todd is looking to offer Pele a mega-bucks contract. I saw him in 1970 and he was some player. Way to go Todd. Edited July 5, 20224 yr by just

Massively unfair to Group Willian and Luiz with Pato and Kennedy We haven't had a Winger half as talented as Willian since he left. And Luiz would walk into our shambles of a defence even now. I don't care what others say about you HazardousVoice you always come across as a highly informed and knowledgeable individual to me and I value your opinions greatly.
July 26, 20223 yr Neymar would be Pogba 2.0. While he undoubtedly has some good skill, you’ll never win the league with a player like Neymar or Pogba in the team. They go missing in the difficult moments. He might do as a stop gap on loan with PSG funding a massive part of the wages - but that’s unlikely to happen. Edited July 26, 20223 yr by JM7
July 26, 20223 yr Why would we entertain signing a high maintenance player that our manager has already had a very public spat with whilst in France
July 27, 20223 yr Barcelona have been corrupt ON and OFF the pitch for the last 40 years or so. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-62317367 Amazing that they are allowed to continue to do business without a deep investigation into all their BS.
July 31, 20223 yr 2 goals and a man of the match performance in the cup final for Neymar today and people said we don't need him while we have Pulisic and Ziyech dropping weekly disaster classes even in pre season. Jesus wept. Not much chance of this happening now but if we ever get round to identifying another attacking target after missing out on Raphina and Dembele we wouldn't find better. August 30, 20223 yr At the start of the summer I said Neymar would score more goals in his first 10 games than Pulisic and Ziyech will manage all season. He's almost certainly already done it in 5. Neymar has more goals and assists this season already than Pulisic has managed in a single season in his career and more than What Ziyech has managed in his 2 years here. He's the only player on the planet we could possibly sign that could see us challenge for the title this season. Just a ridiculously good footballer and if there was a glimmer of hope of this happening we should be offering him all of king Midas's silver. If Mbappe FC doesn't want Neymar us signing him on loan even for a world record salary makes far more sense than signing someone like Auba any of our other options or keeping what we have. highly doubt there's anything in this unfortunately, Even the cult of Mbappe won't sell or loan a man averaging over 2 goals/assists a game in the 5 first 5 games of the season. He's too important to them Edited August 30, 20223 yr by HazardousChoice
August 30, 20223 yr We'd be stupid to turn him down if we get the chance, he's up there with the best in the world and we have nobody even near the best in those forward positions.

Agreed. If we can do a reasonable deal (2 or 3 years), I'd take him in a heartbeat. Most people complain about his baggage but most world class players come with some baggage or the other, so you have to just roll with it sometimes. The team is crying out for creativity and it's quite laughable to see some turning their noses up at the idea. His injuries are a concern but I'm sure he'd do more than most of our forwards even if he plays a third of the games.
September 1, 20223 yr We should compare our fixtures list with his family's birthday list. We'll know when he'll be "injured". Don't want that man anywhere near my club

April 24, 20233 yr New rumours about this bloke heading to Chelsea. Overpaid, always injured, on a downwards trajectory for years, plays poker in the middle of the night, eats at McDonalds, sometimes take a game or two off to nurture his weirdo relationship with his sister. 8-year-deal it is.
April 24, 20233 yr Another bloody silly idea from Bully & Co IF its true, up there with asking TT if he wanted Ronny at the club last summer, if Mopo is the next manager cant see him wanting to work with this prima donna ever again
