Take it up with him, not go to social media and join in on mocking him, that's awful for team morale. Is rather odd isn't it.

February 14, 20233 yr So painfully risk averse, the last one bothers me with how free Mudryk is Edited February 14, 20233 yr by RIP Mourinho

After we've pissed about passing around in our own box, we finally get a chance to break out and attack, especially with our new guys, and the first thing on cuckoo's mind is to play the ball backwards. As you point out sooo painful to watch.

Him and Chilwell will gel very well I reckon.
February 14, 20233 yr Not a unique trait of Cucurella, though, is it? How many years have we been complaining about players passing sideways/backwards when he was not here? Jorgi, Azpi, Kova, Mount, Christensen, Rudiger, on top of my head are players that have been accused of doing this regularly in the last couple of seasons. I get that players pass to Enzo as they used to do with Jorginho, we've been doing that for many games now and it will take a while for the 'old' guard to learn new patterns, with the difference that Enzo now has the vision and capacity to unlock defences with his quality of pass. I rather Enzo tried to pass through the lines than Cucurella, to be honest.

Not a bad idea but it is too predictable and makes it easier for defences to properly get into place By passing it to Mudryk, you force the defence to move and lets Mudryk be able to use his skill.
February 15, 20233 yr Didn't mind him at first, not sure what to think now. Can't help but think he's slipped into some poor form and he can bounce back. That's being hopeful anyway... We definitely need Chilly to stay fit for a while now though.

More creative. A better passer. A better crosser. More attacking. Cucurella has more gloves.
February 16, 20233 yr He's being spoken about like a Bakayoko level clown but I'm really not seeing it, unless someone can tell me what I'm missing. I mean should we have signed him? Not really, even more so given Hall's emergence and Maatsen going from strength to strength, was he overpriced? By god yes but I certainly don't have him in clown tier personally.

February 16, 20233 yr ^ Chilwell is such a vital cog to the team. The downturn in team performance after his knee injury last year cannot be understated.

One of the most reliable players of this team and one of the world's best at his position. Never puts a foot wrong both offensively and defensively. Yet I see people massively underrating him...
February 16, 20233 yr Apparently victim of a burglary. It though does beg the question if this has affected him negatively, why is he being picked?

Biggest fear is City is after a LB, he is currently playing under a City legend, and has 1 more year left on his contract. Pep is also very patient with young talents (see Gomez). It’s a deal I could see happening.
February 17, 20233 yr It's fine to be critical of his performances, but the fans booing him at games are an absolute disgrace.

The only problem I have with him is injury history, which is a valid concern considering the amount of games he missed for Leicester and Chelsea.

I saw somebody in the Dortmund thread had posted something like "I'm so happy he's back, can't believe I'm saying this".
