I don't want to judge Marc too harshly it's his first season and he's achieved something no other player in history has done and that is look like a top class player playing under Graham Potter, was by far Brightons best player last season and earned a move to a big club unlike his gaffer.

He's been poor. Very poor but he's playing under the same terrible coach in a team that's struggling.

I don't think we should give up on him yet even if he's been poor and may lose his place to Chilwell.  He's better than what we've seen from him so far that's for sure.

you're a very strange boy

Why is he labelled as a fullback? He plays like a centre-back that is being forced to play full-back. Offers nothing in the final third and every pass he makes is a negative one that goes back to the keeper. When Chilwell came on the difference was night and day.

Centre back, except for the heading of course. I have a Cavapoo that can outjump him. Actually with that curly hair............

Why can he not make simple forward passes to wide open Mudryk?

I know I am on one about this bloke today but it's simply that he's a total fraud.

Another player with busy hair which belies the fact that he is deceptively slow and a sh*t footballer.

I missed some of the in game comments but I will read them soon, so apologies if it has already been commented on, but I put Cucurella in for their goal. He starts off giving it away,  he's then out of position and is slow shutting down. The ball is crossed and he stands and watches. If he jumps he doesn't get the ball because he's too small, but he probably does screen the view of the ball from Bowen which may well, put him off.

Poor footballer and I bet the rest of them know it as well. We've all done it. Given each other the eyes when we discover a fraud in the team.

It's his erratic nature that get's me. It's like watching the worst of David Luiz without any of the flair and excitement. The rest of them are holding a defensive line and Cucurella is bouncing all over the place. Somebody needs to get hold of him, give him a shake and tell him to calm the f**k down and use his head.

You just know that Badiashile working alongside Silva has already learned the Portuguese for "You're fcuking kidding, mate"

Even as a left footed player, he looks so limited on the ball and awkward. So stiff and rigid.

At no stage today when receiving the ball at left back was his body open. His posture was closed at all times so the only option was to pass the ball back where it came from. Coward and a fraud.  Sorry but it has really pi$$Ed me off. I am pi$$Ed off because there will be another inquisition about what Mudryk doesn't offer. I bet that scouse tw@t Carragher is licking his lips already ahead of Monday.

The thing is Mudryk has only just got here. Its not as if he can respond with "What do you expect, with this fking clown behind me".

Defintely being made a scapegoat, he's not as bad as some make out. But, he is in a poor run of form and has been disappointing for a number of weeks in a row now. Needs to improve quickly.

He needs to get clear instructions and he needs proper coaching, too many times you'll find him in terrible positions or simply all over the place.

Very bizarre considering that Potter knew him prior to him coming here.

There is of course, the possibility that he is following his instructions to the letter !

Worst player on the pitch today, again. He doensn't belong to PL, not at least to a team that is aiming to top places in PL.

I just hope we now see more of Chilwell. I liked Alonso too even for all the hate he got. Chilwell and Alonso are much better at staying calm and bringing their qualities to the team while Cucurella is all over the place.

My issue though is that due to the media coverage, the Arsenal thing, the money, Mudryk already seems to be under the microscope. In game commentaries have questioned his input twice now. Of course no mention about how sh*te Naby Keita is for the money but hey.

What chance will this lad have to set the right tone and get everyone on the edge of their seats with this clown behind him.

I confess he massively irritated me today because despite a pattern of lazy misplaced passes in the first half certainly from the whole team, there was undoubtedly elements of exciting football today and whenever it came ti him he killed all momentum and took no responsibility at all.
