Lets also not forget that Arsenal has one of the worst medical team in football.

I've just looked at the Jesus thread from when it was a possibility he may have come here and the general consensus was outrage at the mere thought of it, yet now he's gone to Arsenal we've missed out and they're going to leave us for dust apparently, lol.

Roma bound

Roma bound not the same thing as Roma signed . If there is anything we 've learnt in this transfer window, its that until he is holding your club shirt, he ain't yours. Don't see Roma standing a snowball's chance in hell if our decide the good old, tried and tested hijacking manoeuvre

I haven’t checked,but this does make sense as when we were linked to him the people that don’t want him would have been dominant in the posting while once he’s gone somewhere else, many that wanted him will post more often (especially as his scored and played well in preseason). I don’t have any prove of this, but it’s possible.

Ronaldo scored 18 goals last year.

Need i say more?

Yes, we need forwards that can press and willing to track back. Can Ronaldo do it with us?

What's false? Is his attitude not piss poor ? Ashley Cole insisted on a move after being shafted on wages , Giroud they didn't want anymore and we bought him etc .

They gave Auba away for free..✌️

Iirc they paid a portion of his wages to go to Barca. False as in Arsenal rejects tend to be good players. The Arsenal players that teams should avoid are those who kept getting injured with Arsenal.

Good short term fix, that's why the rumour has momentum. He's a good finisher, and unlike Lukaku he has good technique and movement off the ball. No longer lightening fast, but smart and capable to make those sharp runs into the final third, something we never had in the past 2 seasons. He will fit in our team much better than Arsenal, there are other senior players around rather than him being the wise old man in the dressing room.

He very much is - would be the fastest player in our squad by some distance! To top it off, he can actually beat a player unlike Timo Werner.

Apart from wages, the only real downside is his historically poor attitude. While not quite as bad as Lukaku, you generally want the older players to be setting standards.

Ronaldo is 37, all he does is wait around the penalty box at this point which is the farthest to a Tuchel No. 9/False 9. We don't have an Ozil/KdB that can reliably assist him.

Well at least you can say that he's actually in the penalty box, which is more you can say for our clowns that play outside of it for 99% of the game...

I think it would be a bad move, he did not finish well at Arsenal is one year older and reminds me of Sarri getting Higuain on high wages.

What could go wrong?

I liken it more to Eto'o.  He won't be as prolific as he once was but he'll still do a job.  Just if we get him hopefully Aubameyang gets the hat-trick against Arsenal rather than against Man U like Eto'o did!

An intermediary who was involved in Aubameyang to Barca is currently in the Barca offices because Chelsea is pushing to sign him. (@gerardromero)

Why?  IF we want a stop gap striker. An old has been. Who is slower than he used to be. Why not just sign Ronaldo?

Ronaldo has high wages and comes with a lot of baggage. Look what's happening at United right now. Also I'm kind of over players that think they are bigger than the team after what happened with Lukaku last year,

Oh, I do not want Cronaldo.  I just do not want Auba either.  At least Cronaldo was world class once.

Cavani is also available, as is Diego costa.

Thomas Tuchel is pushing with Todd Boehly to sign Pierre Aubameyang as he’s considered perfect striker - but Barcelona have not received official proposal yet. 🚨🔵 #CFC

Chelsea are considering Auba as an option as revealed last week ⤵️

@fabrizoromano

It really is a sorry state of affairs when we are looking at a 33 year old as our managers "perfect striker".

It is a damning indictment of the state of:

a) our scouting network;

b) our managers judgement;

c) the lack of quality strikers in world football.

I cannot believe TT would be pushing for this over the hill, lousy attitude, ex Arsenal troublemaker. Makes me really question TTs sanity.

D) our terrible set of untalented forwards.
