The thing the Leeds player know exactly what to do: RUN!.  our players are just shell shocked and even if they were as much commited they wouldn't know where to run the extra 6km.

I think Tuchel didn't expect pressing to that extent.

It was quite clear from early on that the midfield wasn't working particularly well. I would probably have wanted to move Loftus-Cheek inside and sub Gallagher off for Chalobah or Azpilicueta and go to a more orthodox back three (although Loftus-Cheek has been playing as a pretty standard wing-back in this game).

Now we are two down this changes; we'll need to take risks and thus Gallagher is someone we definitely want on the pitch. I think we need to push James forward; if this means pulling Loftus-Cheek for Chalobah or Azpilicueta so be it. This unfortunately more or less locks us into a back three; going to a back four with Koulibaly on a yellow doesn't seem ideal.

Our attacking substitute options don't exactly fill me with confidence - I wouldn't want to take off Mount or Sterling and there's no real alternative to Havertz available. I suppose narratively speaking Pulisic would be the one to go for...

Boehly will quickly realise how big of a task he has on his hands. This club has been left in a poor state, especially with regards to the squad. The squad is barely above average for the most part. Hiring and firing managers leaves us in this situation where Tuchel inherited a squad that isn't his whatsoever. Only a small handful of players in that squad are good enough to be there. We keep taking these embarrassing losses against smaller teams time and time again, every season. It is frustrating. We still need another 2 seasons before we challenge again. Not good enough.

Doesn't it just. Shows how completely mis-informed, (or simply plain wrong), people are that say we don't need Kante. Gallagher can't do the ball recovery and defensive work Kante does every match and I don't think I have ever seen Jorginho have a good game against Leeds.

I thought it was quite obvious that we were struggling before the goal. We were losing most battles, they were out running us, forcing us into mistakes, Koulibaly picked up an early yellow. We may have got in at them a few times, but we had zero control of the game, Leeds dominated.

Yeah that was bad but he also set up Cucurella. I am not saying he was great just that further up field could hold onto the ball and pass to a mate. 🙃

Mendy, Havertz and relying on Kovacic and Kante to stay fit is what will land us outside the top 4 this season.

He has never been Pulisic's backup. You have no idea what you are talking about. Aaronson plays RW or attacking mid for us. He can play all over the front. But he is coming into his own as our best attacking mid. We will start him and Adams in the middle with Pulisic onvthe left and either Gio Reyna or Tim Weah on the right.

We need Kante, but we need a 100% fit Kante. A half fit Kante is terrible, which we saw many times last season. 

It wouldn't be an issue if Kovacic didn't have the same issues, but at the same time, if we can't handle filling in one position in the team without the whole team breaking down, then we have no chance of making top 4.

This shows we need more in midfield and and someone that can finish

Yeah but you call to fire him so what are you talking about. Which manager would have guided us through the difficult time last yearas good as he,  i say very very few. 

I don't say a manager should be sacked based on one game.
