I reckon Slabheid would be better at any club other than United. Having said that, not wanting to see him in a Chelsea top, thank you very much

I think he could be, because Kante is limited in the final 3rd. But I like to be an optimist with our academy players, I think Mount is one of the best attacking midfielders in the PL and would rather him than Saka or Foden. I know that makes.me an outlier among Chelsea fans. 

Maguire plays well for England in a back 3. If we can pick him up for a season loan, or get him for ~30m he could be what we need. It wouldn't be the first time recently we've turned a bad player in a 2 turn into a good one in a 3.

Nope,  you are not an outlier. The majority people here think Mount is better than foden/Saka. But I don't think many people here think Mount is better or will be better than kdb

Maguire is fine. Not as bad as most people think here. He is slow, not agile and can be awkward but on the ball he is very good because he is comfortable kicking with his weaker foot and he is very good in the air. I can see him to be very good at ccb

I don't think Gallagher will be better than Kante. I think he could become a better all round player to play in the position Kante plays in. Especially currently when we have Kante or Kovacic alongside Jorginho and for 28 of our league games when we need at least one of those midfielders to do something in the final 3rd they do f all. 

I think Mount has the ability to be to be regarded in 15 years time at the same level we think of Lampard. 

But we agree on Maguire. He could be fine for us.

What would be hilarious is we bought HM for 15m and Tommy turns him into a world beater. That actually wouldn't be out of a realm of possibility. 

I have no idea what is going on in MU but that club just seems to be broken. They bring in massive talents and they turn into a meme in a year.

Oh don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for Gallagher myself. And as you say might be he gives us more in the final third than Kante, Kova or, on the rare occasions he gets that far up the pitch, Jorginho too. But Kante has so many other facets to his game (that he does better than pretty much anyone else), it's an unreal expectation IMO that Gallagher will be able to all those things as well as him. A player like Kante is not one that comes along very often.

Gallagher is definitely better than Kante in final 3rd but the problem is you have this vision of palace Gallagher who played either as a 10 or as in Lampard role. In this team he need to think about playing a dm first then think about being Gallagher. He can't just bomb forward at will.

It would be hilarious, but as TT is only human, and not a miracle maker, let's not put this to the test 

Even going back to Leciester and Hull, you can see how bad he was.
