That VAR decision was bullsh*t if you were West Ham fan, but let them cry. Antonio shouldn't even been on the pitch when he scored their goal.

- Mendy is a train wreck every game. Kepa will play Tuesday for rotation, but that might be the phase we need to change 

- Too slow on the ball, and a predictable mistake waiting to happen 

- Broja, Mount, Havertz and most of all Chilwell changed the game. They brought the energy we needed. 
 

If I were TT you’d see a lot more of Broja and Havertz on the pitch at the same time. We give them so much more to think about. Midfield remains a problem - Zakaria can get in this side. 

Honestly it is so easy to get service to our forward. We have James on the right, we have sterling on the left problem solved. But Tuchel just have to play this nonsene 352 with two winger up top. 

Our defence should be really solid now with Fofana, I don’t see the harm in trying Kepa now. At least he shouldn’t have to make as many saves.

Chilwell saved us today and Fofana looked solid but that's where the positives end. 

 

We looked very good against Spurs and had two howling decisions against us in that game.  So I take todays decision all day long.  

TT just needs to find his best side quickly in my opinion

I’d like to see more of Havertz, Broja, Mount and sterling on the pitch at the same time. Auba will come in, but the above offer a presence we need, and with service, well we just saw what happens 

Five live already more angry about West Ham being victims of a bad var decision than the Tottenham debacle.

 

Positives - Mendy barely had anything to do which shows the defence in a getting better 

Negatives - When Mendy did have something to do, he messed it up. 

I personally don't think Mendy has become a bad keeper overnight, but like several others he clearly thinks he is an untouchable and that should never be the case. Kepa isn't the perfect answer but Mendy needs to know that he can be dropped. Maybe that will wake him up. Same goes for any players who are not performing. We have a big enough squad.

For those that had money on it m; I was asleep between Jorginho coming on and Havertz scoring.

WHy do you always use whataboutism to defend Jorginho?

Got lucky in the end although it was a foul and stopped Mendy getting back to his feet.

I’m actually nervous every time Mendy is near the ball, flapped a bit for their first goal.

Generally a poor performance that lacked any intensity until we fell behind.

Need PEA real quick so Sterling can go back to a wide position.

Feel like that f**k up by Jorginho has been glossed over because the boy missed the sitter but that really was poor.

We did look good against Spurs and it's evened itself out.

But we've played 6 games now, I think it's fair to say we've only played well in 1 of them.

It probably will never happen under Tuchel unless we are lookin for goal. 

What did we learn ?

• Chilwell > Cucurella. Should be back in the team from now on.
• We should NEVER play two midgets up front.
• Broja needs to start.
• Mount needs to start
• Havertz needs to start
• We have to improve the midfield, so that it better screens the defence, and better enables the attack
• Pulisic, RLC, Gallagher, Jorginho are the weakest links in the squad.
• Zakaria has a huge opportunity to be indispensible
• Fofana looks mustard
• We might as well play 4 at the back if 5 at the back is going to be porous anyway ... 
• Mendy needs a spell on the bench. 

And I learned all that having not watched the game LOL

 

Based off the half I saw.

Mendy - 2 - Horrible. He's in the wrong sport, he thinks it's volleyball. Fully at fault for the 1st goal and was incredibly fortunate to get away with not conceding the equaliser.

James - 4 - He's sh*t at RWB against teams that sit deep. He always wants an extra touch and never attempts a cross. Horrible back pass near the end too.

Fofana - 7 - Looked comfortable, put in a few nice tackles too.

Silva - 6 - Didn't really notice him too much.

Koulibaly - 6 - Same as Silva

Loftus-Cheek - 4 - Looked ineffective.

Kovacic - 4 - Didn't look comfortable in the position he played

Cucurella - 4 - Out of position, didn't suit him at all.

Gallagher - 5 - He tries, but not a lot came off for him

Sterling - 4 - Worst game for us so far.

Pulisic - 4 - Gone, I just can't see how he turns this around.

Subs

Broja - 6 - Looked hungry when he came on, had zero service though.

Chilwell - 9 - Made all of the difference, he dragged us to a win with his goal and assist.

Mount - 5 - Pressed well as usual, but other than that, very little else to offer.

Havertz - 6 - Nice finish for the goal that won us the game. 

Jorginho - 4 - Didn't have much time on the pitch, but he still managed to lose the ball that almost lead to a goal for West Ham.

Agreed. And there were some wondering how much those decisions against Spurs knocked us off our stride. Hopefully our luck today sets us back on the right path.

Fofana a real bright point in the game and I thought Silva was excellent again.

I'll say one thing for Jorginho, when he makes a f**k up like the one he did against Spurs its a credit to him that he wants to test himself again to try and improve. Good to see him again giving away the ball stupidly and nearly throw the game. Keep trying Jorgy, one day you might yet it right.

Should have been grazi and arrivederci to jorginho this window.

Let's just say, that the var decision was questionable.

Same as Liverpool. They've been very dodgy apart from the 9-0 against Bournemouth. 

Another waste of an afternoon watching this garbage. Promising myself to stop watching this crap while TT is incharge, I know I’ll not keep to it.

Definitely got away with one today. Never should have been disallowed.

This pass pass pass for the sake of it is doing my head it. After about 30 mins we had over 70% with 1 miserable deflected shot. We are a gift to defend against. When Brojon came on and had that effort on goal there was panic in their defence but we retained the ball for the next 2 mins with not one effort to attack the box.

I think we have a decent squad with some decent attacking talent so it has to be down to tactics and that falls on TT. He needs to turn things round fast or f**k off.

No doubt I’ll tune it next game expecting better but getting served up the same sh*t.
