September 3, 20223 yr Ugly by incredibly important win. Feels like the three points here can save our season. A loss here and heads would almost certainly have dropped but now we can bring Auba into the fold and hopefully we can kick on. Fofana looked fantastic and that's a big positive. Some major negatives again also in my opinion but i'll get back to those.
September 3, 20223 yr We were crap there but a win is a win and to win it late after being behind, despite being crap isn’t a bad thing. Very lucky with the disallowed goal. Mendy flapped at a cross 2 minutes before and they hit the post. He needs dropping.
September 3, 20223 yr We have to improve - got very lucky and TT knows it. Very disappointed in Tuchels approach to this game. We need a striker, and more impotently intentional service. Same old Chelsea until things changed. - Mendy is a train wreck every game. Kepa will play Tuesday for rotation, but that might be the phase we need to change - Too slow on the ball, and a predictable mistake waiting to happen - Broja, Mount, Havertz and most of all Chilwell changed the game. They brought the energy we needed. If I were TT you’d see a lot more of Broja and Havertz on the pitch at the same time. We give them so much more to think about. Midfield remains a problem - Zakaria can get in this side.

Bowen did take away his forward momentum so he can't smother the ball immediately afterwards, or react to the aftermath. Honestly, I have no idea. Very odd situation.
September 3, 20223 yr Mendy and Jorginho nearly done us at the end but we managed to cling on. About time we had a bit of luck.
September 3, 20223 yr Leaving Mendy aside there was such a panic leading up to westhams disallowed goal. We lack a captain who can put some steel into the team. Fofana did ok. Chiller man of the match.
September 3, 20223 yr Get the f**k in Chels!! Another poor performance and got a bit of luck but a wins a win.
September 3, 20223 yr Big win , sketchy performance We’ve gone soft in defence, an indecisive keeper doesn’t help Chilwell changed the game Ref ultimately changed the game…got the Antonio call totally wrong, evened things up later Three points were needed today , onto the CL
September 3, 20223 yr He was only on for 20 mins but Chillwell Man of the Match for me. Made all the difference. Seemed a different class

Surely irrespective of whether Mendy could have gotten to the ball, he was kicked and kicking someone usually equates to a free kick Agreed. It was a very low leg. Trailing leg, but I was preparing myself mentally for a VAR decision that wouldn't see it like this.
September 3, 20223 yr how the f**k did Bournemouth manage to win the game after being 2-0 behind at halftime !!
September 3, 20223 yr We got very lucky with that call at the end. But we can also argue we were due some fortune from VAR after the Spurs game. Surely Chilly has to start next game after today? Kepa too probably although I cannot believe we have reached that point 😉

It was a call refs would always give the GK the benefit of the doubt. That said, we were incredibly lucky Bowen had a trailing leg.

September 3, 20223 yr This performance is on Tuchel. Wtf was that 1st half. It was a joke, I am not surprised we conceded that goal (I have no idea what happen to Mendy), either we score from set pieces or west ham score from one. It was just so obvious. One tiny switch playing Gallagher as no 10 and we just look so much better (our front line is just a mess excepet sterling who is really2 good). Big shout out to Chilwell who was clearly motom. He showed Cucu how to play wb today. As wb you need to be aggressive, attack the box make plenty of forward run. Cucu was playing almost as LB today.
September 3, 20223 yr Wins feel more like relief than Joy. We've won 3 games this season and looked sh*t in all of them. Really worrying times. Chilwell saved us today and Fofana looked solid but that's where the positives end.
September 3, 20223 yr Kova is clearly not at top pace. Gallagher didn’t do much but neither did he lose the ball.

September 3, 20223 yr Extraordinarily fortunate with that VAR decision. I'd be mighty annoyed if we scored that and it was chopped off. Fofana a real bright point in the game and I thought Silva was excellent again. I'll say one thing for Jorginho, when he makes a f**k up like the one he did against Spurs its a credit to him that he wants to test himself again to try and improve. Good to see him again giving away the ball stupidly and nearly throw the game. Keep trying Jorgy, one day you might yet it right.
