There is still a certain level of professionalism that needs to be present. It's why I have zero respect for Bayern in the way they handle transfers. Publicly talking about a player that isn't yours I find distasteful.

I can understand to a degree where you are coming from but when does this all end with clubs getting into us as an easy touch. 
 Said weeks ago that we needed to just walk away. Don’t really understand the hype surrounding him. Good enough player but lacks vision and creativity which you’d expect at £100 or even £60M. Maybe he’ll turn into the dogs bollicks but he’s not there atm and not guaranteed.

Part of the Brighton way of doing things are indeed making deals that favour the club.

Even if we offer 85m and they accept that we will faff around for another month over instalment terms. The writing is on the wall, move on and lets get our business done.

Im not really sure of how the club don’t end up paying £105m for him given we set the bar at Enzo and now Rice has gone for that. 
 

£200m on 2 midfielders is abit mental when you think about it. 

Gallagher seemed more comfortable last night further up the pitch occupying space/linking with Mudryk/Jackson, get it done.

Fast or slow it’s clear from de zerbi comments that this deal is still live right now.

I don't really understand why Caicedo signed that deal. Perhaps he fell for vague, verbal assurances like Kane did with Spurs.

I like Kova a lot but I'm ok with allowing him to move on. Some of the departures have been pleasing but some, like this one, have been painful. I think our route back to competitiveness goes through that pain. We have begun to move on ourselves, and have to finish the job.

No one does. Most of all, now, Caicedo. He was very, very badly advised by his agent. Six months later Mac Allister's agent showed how it should be done. Six months too late for Caicedo.

He was one of the lowest paid players in the league. Reportedly £15,000 a week which  is really low for PL standard. So yeah, he has put himself in a mud, however he gets a much higher salary and in the likelihood of an injury, he has got security for himself and family I guess. No guarantees in football and prob still thinks he could force a move. Think he is on as much as £80k p/w now.

So we heard how all big wigs from both clubs, as well as Moises and his agent, were at the game yesterday looking yo thrash out a deal, with the Eggman called in to sort it like he did with Enzo.

 

So I wonder, after scoring a victory over Rui Costa in January, how he did vs ADL, I mean Tony Bloom.

wonder if his presence in the midfield really warrants the money in Pochettino's system? In a system like Sarri's I could see him being worth the fee.

Only reason Brighton are interested in Colwill is that for them he is the next player in their conveyor belt of "buy cheap, sell high". They see him as the next player they can flog for 90 mill next season.

Or its more that they are loosing one of the best players and want another one to compensate for this. This shouldnt be hard to understand by anybody

Like I said pages back, Caicedo now needs to do his part. 

Chelsea nor Caicedo and his agent anticipated just how rooted to the spot Brighton would be on this, even after essentially going back on their word to the player. 

 

Caicedo is so dumb so have signed that contract.

Him and his agent now have to do a lot to make this move happen, and they need to do it right away. If they don't then we need to move on.

As we even had the Eggman talk to Brightons top people and that changed nothing.
