Just bizarre. Has all the attributes, but beyond that demonstrated positional play/discipline and reading of the game beyond his years. While still raw, crazy he can’t get a look in.

Yeah ... but then again nothing we do this season makes any sense. So why should this be any different? We play f**king Gallagher and Kante as attacking midfielders/forwards/inverted wingers the f**k you want to call the position against BRENTFORD at home AFTER we signed Mudryk and Noni for big money in the winter. Please make it make sense. I just can`t wrap my head around it. It`s like we intentionally shoot ourselves into the leg just to make sure we create the biggest possible mess.

Oh and did I mention that we use out-of-form Sterling as our lone false 9/striker/forward whatever the f**k you want to call it??? We sign DD Fofana but don`t give him a chance to play so we can play Raheem the Dream for a few more games before we inevitably sell him for a laughable amount in the summer or loan him to AC Milan because no one wants to pay anything to sign a washed-up forward that has no motivation and drive to actually achieve anything.

We just don't know what goes on behind the scenes, we don't even know what prompted us to go after certain players, it is almost like the film Mike Bassett England manager, someone writes names on the back of a fag packet and gives them to Boehly we go and pay big money for tomorrows predicted stars.

Perhaps it is panic others are buying so we need to do this too.

Then if the players have personal issues like depression or something do you really think that will be in the press?

Badiashille I agree is a but weird but really not getting this sudden hype of DDF, Chuky etc.

I thought Baba Rahman was always going to be number 1 when it came to players who improved the more they didn't play but he seems to have multiple players going after his crown this season 🤣

D Fofana looked very raw when he played for the first team. Most likely a loan next season. Badiashile has mostly looked very good when he has played and certainly deserves more time. Chuky has shown some promise in his appearances but hasn't really had enough minutes to judge fully.

From what I can see (not just in first team but also PL2 level and his Villa games) I just don't see it. He looks like a cross between RLC and Moses both of whom hit their prime with the exact same flaws as when they were the age Carney is at now.

I'd love to be wrong but for me he's got "still potential at 26" written all over him. The astute thing to do would be to be to see if we can get someone to give us our money back, or failing that loan him out and hope he plays well enough to convince a team to do so.

Speaking of loans, now they're up in the Championship Plymouth are a team we really need to look at sending players to, they have a very stable set up which many young players have thrived at in the season just gone.

If anything after Silva for me Badiashile is the best defender we have.

Yes. You could be right. I think he might benefit from a loan next season.

I wouldn't even rate Fofana's performances above Chalobah's. They have both had a mix of good and bad games, but I actually thought Chalobah's decent run of form before the world cup was better than what we have seen of Fofana.

Fofana is a lot more mobile than Badashile. Quicker. TBH both of them should be playing together and I have no idea why Ben is being left out.

Based on what we have seen so far, he is well above Fofana and Koulibaly. I don't understand why he was dropped a few months back.

Comparisons with Fofana are irrelevant as they play on different sides of the defense.

It's Colwill he's competing for a spot either going forward.

Badiashile and Fofana are both talented and should form a good centre half pairing in the coming years. Silva maybe has one year left in him to help bring them both through.

Crazy potential in this back line... 

Apart from one rash challenge he done well today. Looks fairly composed and his height and presence are big pluses in both boxes. 

Very good performance from him today. Our best defender.

Anyone else notice how good is forward passes are, always looking to progress play whenever he can.

He is a big help.. immediately improves our set pieces with his height and proactive defending.

He needs to play until the end of the season.

At one point he passed into the Bournemouth forward, but overall I agree. 

He's looked very solid since coming in and I don't want to see him benched for Dave or another player likely to leave.
