The thing is as crackerjack as this all appears to be, I watched Joao Felix for just 15 mins and I want us to sign him permanently.  He looks exciting and could be an important part of where we may end up.

I hope this lad does much the same. If so we may well forget about any of these financial details.

I confess I am conflicted myself and I have no idea how they are going to ship out the dead wood. But if he can get all of these new faces to gel and can introduce some sort of pattern that is worth watching then perhaps we can stop talking about the club owners and maybe start to enjoy the footie.

This is actually one to get quietly excited about (if we just ignore the central mid issues) and the fact he won’t flourish under Potter.

God knows what squad number he’s taking though, we’re pretty much out of numbers now. 

There needs to be a BIG summer clear out.

Interesting.  I guess a couple could go out on loan.  I imagine D Fofana would be the first likely candidate.

Mudryk is 21 so doesnt have to be registered, same as Fofana, Badiashille, and santos.

But I suspect that we are on the threshold of the next ridiculous bump in acceptable figures. Clubs have been flirting around the 100m mark for a while. Now that this threshold is being pushed through, in a year or two 70-80m may well be the norm.

The value of the price will always be viewed differently on how the players perform. We paid 63m for Cucurella and most fans currently are meh. Arsenal fans were the same over Ben White but now 50m looks decent value to their fans.

I was excited until he compared Murdyk to Jack Grealish, now I'm not.

Looks like, at least to the fan on the outside of things, that Todd and Co are like "who cares about FFP?" Maybe they will just create companies to give themselves their own money and pay fines, Ala City and PSG.

If we are throwing money about why not just striker a payment plan deal with Benfica for Enzo to join in the summer? And a midfield enforcer and star keeper as well?

Remember this transfer is actually £62m, and with all add-ons met it could reach up to £88m, so not quite the £100 million the media and other Chelsea haters will have you believe.
