Does he get credit for Moises goal?

Was Casemiro at Cobham last week to practice that defensive header out to Caicedo as part of the move ?

Probably not ... so all credit to Caicedo in my book 🙂

If we thought we were in for easy game should have just seen the emotion when they scored.. they went flat out against us. Plus they have quality too.. I M happy with a point.. Enzo should have buried that chance..

They were sh*t. United were there for the taking. They were so easy to open up in midfield, they gave away a ton of loose passes, and we wasted every opportunity.

Absolutely dreadful performance. Never ever got going. So many times Utd are there for the taking and we freeze. Literally did nothing all game.

It's the same against Liverpool, but at least we can use the excuse that Liverpool are a good team these days. United have been getting steadily worse since Ferguson retired and apart from the fluke win at Stamford Bridge last season, we can't beat them.

I'm so tired of us freezing against certain names. We see the opportunity and squander it.

We played like a team that thought a draw was a great result.

Utd was there for the taking and we let them off.

That’s the difference between the real top teams and us, we’re not ruthless or clinical enough.

Not our best game... but..

If someone said we would be 4th after 10 games and be the top London club I would have suggested they give their head a wobble !!!

We're obviously not there yet, but those that say we are not making progress are not giving the credit due to either the manager or the players in my opinion.

Did you watch the manager interviews after the game ?

RVN "disappointed not to win the game"

Maresca "happy with a point"

Ouch !

Nope,

Really??

That’s not good, this is a weak Man Utd on their knees, if we want a top 4 spot we have to beat inferior or mentally weakened teams.

That backs up what I thought about us, historically a point away to Man Utd sounds reasonable but we need to learn to play the game not the occasion because this was a winnable match.

This is pretty much where I am.

having said that, those second half subs when we needed a goal. 🤦

Results wise, it isn’t the worse one given the circumstances and the threat of a new manager bounce. We controlled the game really well and dominated.

The performance overall though was poor, we barely created anything. Mostly half chances.

I don’t know what the club do about Sanchez. I like his shot stopping abilities but the rest of his game is shocking. He might be a good keeper but he is the wrong fit for the style of football that we want to play.

I think if we can somehow squeeze a win va Arsenal that will be 2 wins and a draw vs Newcastle, United and Arsenal which would feel pretty good.

Thought we were pretty lucky to get away with a draw after another Sanchez blunder to add to the growing list.

Never created much upfront. Madueke and Jackson barely threatened and kept giving the ball away. Palmer was subdued and no one else really stepped up other than Neto who had one good effort he dragged wide. In the end, we had to rely on a rare Caicedo wonder strike to equalise.

Was surprised Maresca didn’t change things up earlier. At least give Nkunku and Felix a chance to give their defence something to think about. But I think the manager was more concerned about hanging on for the point. At the end of the season it might make all the difference. Still feels like we never really pushed them too hard.

I feel this was the kind of game in which Sancho would have thrived. Our attackers, other than Palmer, had enough space but didn't use it to the best.

Felt like 2 points lose. I know there's always the new manager ( or interim manager) bounce, but the players don't just improve because of that. At the end of the day, there's a team on 14th, and if we want the top 4 we need to beat teams like that. I don't think we played well, but had the best chances in the late part of the game to win it, and their PK was a gift. Attacker wasn't going to get the ball at the by-line, he's looking for it and Sanchez played along. Caicedo and Levia are the first choice combination going forward, Enzo needs to earn his spot back, and missing a chance like that isn't going to help.

A fair reaction given they created far more chances.

The header on the post and Enzos Waffle on the volley, that's it for what we offered of any real threat.

Nothing from Palmer or Jackson.

United missed more by Garnacho on his own, his finishing was truly woeful in some cracking positions.

United should have won. Maresca rested his main players for them to come back and be second best to United.

no wonder he is relieved with a point. Performance and result were both abysmal, Caicedo the exception and Maresca himself the worst offender.

Time to bury the myth that James always returns to the same level straight after injuries me thinks.

Who said this?

Every single player need time to regain their form when they are out for a long time.

This is what needs sorting out somehow. It happens too often.

For which side? He's currently a Utd player and it could be that Amorim will take him back.

I know we have an obligation to buy but I'm unaware of Utd having one to sell.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out if Sancho has a good season.

He looks miles off it, in terms of form and fitness. I just cannot see what he can bring to the team. I understand that Lavia is not yet up to lasting the full 90, but the midfield stops functioning when he gets subbed off.

I’m pretty sure obligation to buy means we have to sign him if we reach the targets. So he’s pretty much a Chelsea player.
