January 20, 20251 yr I've said it recently on here but the amount of managers in top level football that have no plan B now is laughable. Genuine lack of top managers in top level football these days. It's not a special trait to have a style of football if it doesn't work, it's special to be able to adapt.

We want fckin cc and KDH to play as 10s and leaving are wingers to be doubled team.. very easy to play against.. tactics been found out to be honest .. ain’t working.

I agree that Sanchez is fking useless but if you employ a defence of bang average players with limited technical ability and insist on playing football 15 yards from your own goal this is just going to keep happening over and over again. The fact that this manager clearly doesn't have the ability to develop a pattern that has some form of tempo in koving up the pitch at pace and reduces risk is deeply unsettling
January 20, 20251 yr Goal was coming. Shocking mistake but he has it in his locker. Depressingly similar to the last few games.
January 20, 20251 yr Just now, El regreso said: Since the goal the players completely dropped off our attackers have all been missing. I blame the usual idiot again, the guy on the sideline who is supposed to be head coach. He never once adapts to the flow of the game. Any idiot that watches football has seen enough of it to know that the game never stays the same after the first goal. There are always tactical shifts, yet Maresca has once again failed to get this lot to adapt to a team that has changed their game plan after going 1-0 down against us.

January 20, 20251 yr Every game is a carbon copy of the last, decent start, then we turn to sh*t. Jackson's apparently in the team for his all round game, he gave the ball away last 15 minutes at every chance he had. Needed him help us get up the pitch, but he puts us back in danger. Wingers not done enough, especially Neto. Not sure why Palmer is on the left, and KDH is on the right, surely both players operate better on the opposite side? Let's see if this becomes the 6th game where Maresca gets outclassed after the break. Oh and Sanchez is a f**king donkey.
January 20, 20251 yr The minute any team in the league decides they want to have a go against us, they get joy within 20 minutes. They’ve shut our full backs down. We have no passing lanes out of defense. Nothing up top. No defensive midfield cover. Our lack of adaptability is shocking. Wolves will go on to win this
January 20, 20251 yr I've said it many times (as have others) our sh*te keeper will give one really good chance to the opposition and Sanchez has given two already.. He is a liability, he will give more points than he saves, and that's unacceptable.
January 20, 20251 yr Sanches should be on the sale list together with Disasi. Not sure what Madueke is offering these days. Should be warming the bench. Is Maresca showing his true level now? Weird line up selections, no tactical improvements...
January 20, 20251 yr Last 10-15 mins we weren’t as close picking up players and they started to get more crosses and forward balls

Heard a discussion about this on Talksport today only their focus was on Amorim at United. It's the same thing.
January 20, 20251 yr Jorgensen must sit on the bench bewildered at why this f**king moron starts in goal every week
January 20, 20251 yr Took Wolves 25 minutes to figure us out. Pattern of game is now set. We’ve all read this book before
January 20, 20251 yr This new trend of standing on and pushing goalkeepers at corners is getting ridiculous, but Sanchez has a simple catch that looks worse the more you see it. Buy a new goalkeeper and I’m not talking about some unknown/youngster. A proper f**king keeper.
January 20, 20251 yr Strange how a simple full back changing sides has seemingly flummoxed Enzo. Edited January 20, 20251 yr by Remodez
January 20, 20251 yr One positive is Chalobah has slotted in well. He's been the one doing the dirty work, and he's certainly been one of our better players in the first half. KDH has played decent, too. Madueke and Palmer have been the most threatening offensively, trying to make sh*t happen. Neto and Jackson have been mediocre, Cucurella has been making poor passes. The first 10 mins we started off fast again, but struggled to make much happen apart from the odd shot that was never going in. If a couple of the balls had fallen better for us, we could have been 2 or 3 up, but they weren't, so we aren't. Got to start threatening more up top. I'm not sure who we could bring on to do this, maybe Sancho on for Neto. Edited January 20, 20251 yr by Sunspear_88

So many coaches today would never make it outside of being an assistant coach not so long ago.
January 20, 20251 yr On a positive note it’s really good to have Chalobah back. I genuinely can’t believe the clowns thought Disasi and Badiashille were better!
January 20, 20251 yr 7 minutes ago, timetowaste said: Yeah because Maresca threw the ball at Doherty there Who keeps picking him? Not only that why is he not telling the players to move the ball quicker?
January 20, 20251 yr Sanchez is a f**king joke of a keeper. Another goal gifted. Jackson offering f**k all as usual. Neto and Madueke doing little. BUT will Maresca make early changes? No Chance. Same pattern every game. So predictable. We need a bit of magic from somewhere to turn this game around and salvage 3 points.
