August 10, 2025Aug 10 Only two pre-season games, but I feel like we have already seen the positives and the negatives from him. I think he's an easy upgrade on Sancho. He's quick, he's direct, he has good dribbling, he wants to make things happen. The negatives are what we already knew before we bought him, decision making. Against Leverkusen, it was spot on, but today, not so much. A few times he tried the wrong pass or took a shot when it wasn't on.

August 10, 2025Aug 10 He is a top talent, but too raw and this is the reason I feel Garnacho is nailed on to come here. As much as I think Garnacho is a brainless player and I made my feelings known in his thread numerous times, he is probably the most direct left winger of all the players that the board of directors have in their sight. For all his flaws, Garnacho is the opposite of Sancho. He gets the ball and he is on his bike.Leaving Gittens as the only natural left winger, with no competition, could prove dangerous. Young players can feel too important and entitled way too early and we've seen it with Jackson that he did not really enjoy having his starting spot taken away from him.
August 10, 2025Aug 10 Looks very raw which is fine when you’re spending £30m on someone, not so much when they’re £60m

August 10, 2025Aug 10 Raw is the right word. Outstanding pace and dribbling - seems able to beat his man every time. I don’t recall one time after beating his man, either immediately or once at the byline, that he did anything with the ball. Only one game but that decision making and execution shows room for improvement.

August 10, 2025Aug 10 It's going to be very interesting watching what Gittens can deliver for us and what Madueke can deliver for Arsenal this season.
August 11, 2025Aug 11 His ability to beat a man is incredible. It was great watching him do it over and over - he made it look easy. I really hope he can get some end product early on to settle himself...I'm sure whatever happens he'll end up winning us a lot of freekicks and penalties because defenders won't be able to resist kicking him.

Gittens has much more potential but it's going to be a frustrating road to get there.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 Looks like he is going to take a while to adapt to the physicality of the league. I didn't know much about him tbh, doesn't look much better than Tyrique George though, not sure he is an upgrade on Sancho, different player, but I guess time will tell, not too impressed so far though.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 I dread when we play the pikeys. Kurt will kick him all over the park........was sh*t today

I think Simons would be a lot more creative and able to do more. The physicality did look like it was too much for him though

August 17, 2025Aug 17 Like so many players before him, who come from foreign leagues, he will quickly need to show he can deal with the pace, intensity, and most importantly, the physicality of the EPL. I am stunned that he is in the starting XI already.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 It’s his first PL game. It’s very possible he’s had abit of shock to the system with how physical the league is.Give him a chance to get used to it and then he can start playing more like himself.Don’t use Estevao as an example, he’s clearly a freak of nature.

Most of his highlights also showed him taking advantage of the high line in the league and running into acres of spaces. He is never getting that in the PL, and 75% of the teams will sit deep and try to hit us on the break. Early days but I just don’t see it.
August 18, 2025Aug 18 No need to worry. A hatrick against a struggling Wolves and bingo, a profit next summer. I think we sometimes forget the primary aim of these signings.
